June 26, 200620 yr well i don't want to be a spoiler, but as a matter of fact you have to do a qeust to use any full rune set (wether it's trimmed, god or regular) of course you have to do dragonslayer to wield a platemail.. but you sure can use any other parts of the armor by training 40 def.
