bull912000
Could the author of a certain post be able to delete his or her own? I have made so many accidental posts and I'm afraid that its gana be counted as spam. Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?Final Fantasy
Karvinen
Hide post from non-moderator -button would be better than deleting button because scammers can't abuse it (scamming and deleting the post before mods see it).
Mercifull
Edit the post and say "please delete" or something. A moderator will then clean it up if they see it. You could use the report feature to report such posts - those are dealt with right away. Or you could PM me or another staff member to have us clean it up.. don't worry about it. :)
bull912000
k, thank you very much. Just one question: does it go to some type of record when posts are deleted, or is it like they never existed. Vape
k, thank you very much. Just one question: does it go to some type of record when posts are deleted, or is it like they never existed.Depends on how it's "deleted" Most of the time, when a post that breaks the forum rules is "deleted," it is actually just hidden from public view - it goes to a deleted items board so the staff can analyze it and decide on the action, and so there's a track of what happened so it can be referred back to for ban appeals etc. It's quite rare for somethign to be deleted entirely, but it does happen. Um yeah, obviously I'm not TIF staff, and my info should be treated as such. Where the bloody hell are you?
natefico
Personally I like to delete my own threads. I feel so bad for having to bother staff to delete my stupid posts. I am sure they got better things to do, don't you? But whatever, if you want to delete my goof ups, alright by me ^_^
