why do you like to be 'pures'? how does being expert in eg woodcutting benefit you? :?:

mean skill pures or pk pures?

 

idk about skill pures but pk pures own in wildy(hitting 12 at about level 40 (str)) while others hit maybe 10, str pures arent that good in the beginning, but later on they will own

well i'm gonna try to make a real 'def' pure

the way you've listed your stats make them hard to understand.

Its simple:

 

 

 

When becoming a succesful pure, you made cash like water

 

(really, millions)

 

Personally it gives me a rush, trying to do a range-2h combo :)

i see it as a bit of fun, i use my main for skilling and getting the stats i want and i dont train str on my main alot so its different on a pure although its just something different and i dont find myself as a wc expert i dont like it at all

This is not a Defence pure. Defence pures have high defence, lol. This is the average pure, and the best melee version. Decent Attack, High Strength, 1/1 Defence, and as for the prayer 1/1 is better that 31/31, you really can't capitalize on 31 prayer, it is best just to keep it 1/1. :idea:

U should know it is really hard to make a pure defence character =)

 

I started the challenge.. But I just kept hitting 0's and 1's...

 

 

 

And i reallised.... in the end... u can't even use ur account for pking...

 

 

 

So i quitted the same day as i started...

most of thiose skill pures with 3 combat and hihg woddcutting ar just to brag about wiht to other lvl 3 that dont have that hihg woodcutting and are freshly fomr tutorial isle

Still but i still dont really understand the whole thing, take woodcutting for example. currently im only 54 wc, but if i were to start a pure and go up to lvl 60 wc so i can cut yews, y not just wc wit my main and have like lvl 70-75 or something. I just cant see the benefit of havin a seperate account for it. Unless of course u were to cheat, if macroing then u wudnt want to risk macroin wit ur main incase u get banned (which seems to be enevitable). or if u were to multiple log in then play as normal wit ur main, and wc wit the other account. Not that im sayin that any1 shud do either of these things and i certainly dont, but to me it seems the only reason why some1 wud want to do them!

skill pures are pointless to me no offence.

I don't like the ideas of pures at all. I mean, I want to be the best I can, so why would i waste time on a throw away character to get high in one skill, rather then high in all skills with my main?

it makes heaps of money but if you cant fight it all gets wasted

On a side note, I can add and say that 13 prayer is better than 1 prayer. 13 prayer hardly even boosts your combat level by 2, and at the same time you can boost your strength temporarily by 10% for 13 X 6 seconds = 78 seconds which is nice. If, let's say you have 60 strength, then your prayer can make you gain +6 str for a short persion of time. If you raised strength instead of prayer, you'd only make +3 strength + 1 HP at best. So what would you choose?

 

 

 

I would choose prayer, but prayer is a bit irritating sometimes since you have to recharge it.

I'd rather pk a rune set =D
