Be warned, the camera I used was a pretty crapppy one. Fortunately I just got a much better one for my trip to China. Sunset at the porch of the Bright Angel Lodge A small lizard on a stick, just below the Lookout studio A view of some side canyon from our tiny prop plane. Yay for airsickness! A large Canyon Rattlesnake, which I almost stepped on. A series of holes in sandstone along the Grandview trail, eroded by thousands of years of wind. Living in Arizona I have only been at the Canyon twice... plan on going there with my gf in September though. It is quite a breath taking place, amazing sunsets, beautiful scenery and one of the Seven Natural wonders of the world. Definitely a place worth visiting in ones liftime :). Did you enjoy your stay? I bet the flight over the Canyon was amazing... Supposedly they are planning on building a glass platform on the north (I think) rim area that will extend 30 feet over the Canyon so that you can step out onto it and look straight down into the Canyon...
