DaanTheDude
read the advices in the tip.it guide. Do master farmer a lot, it's fun Dude never argue with an idiot. They drag you dwn to their level and then beat you with experience.
BoD
the way 2 lvl theiving is to theive. thats the basic, u could also do a couple a quest, like tourist trap lost rights to my dark red text >:( 12/20/06 - QUEST CAPE OF ACHIEVEMENTBarrows sets: guthan, verac, dharok, maybe ahrim eventually <- lost to a hacker whole stole everything of worth from my bank
redfire50000
It is 50 for Legends and 53 for Desert treasure :D Anyways, I would steal from Freminiks, Guards, or Warrior Ladies.
boyswimmer
i would recommend you train on master farmers until you get your thieving to 45 then continue onto guards :)
QueenValerie
Thieve the guards in Yanille, you won't need food cause they provide bread and also decent gp's. But you must do the watchtower quest, which is fairly easy to do. Quick xp there and no guards attacking you like in the center of Arrdy.

In case you didn't read, that guy has stimj9, and you need 65, so no thieving. :shame: Anyway, raise your thieving level to 55, steal from guards all the way. And before you know it you can rob a bank, I can do that after all I'm lvl90 thieving.

tefda
Oh and i didnt quite understand what it was i could do in yanille.... could someone please explain that to me? Yanille has these guys called Watchmen, when you sucessfully steal from one of them you get both coins AND a piece of bread. In theory that'll save you from making trips back and forth, but I find that I get hurt more than I pick from guards and I'm level 70 thieving  . Just a little side note, Paladins are the coolest NPC's to steal from, Chaos Runes and coins  !!!! Plus with the Bread Stall nearby, you can't lose! skeroh
go to ardy and theive the guards there. when you can theive the knights, train on them and then once you can do pally's just train on them. remember to not wear armor and only bring a pair of mystic gloves (imagine in real life trying to pickpocket someone in full rune) so that ur chance of not getting caught goes up. and they'res always cakes nearby :D Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

That's not true at all. The only time armour that lets you avoid being caught better is HAM equipment against HAM members. I could wear full Dragon Armour and thieve just as well if I were wearing a pair of gloves. Your way makes LOADS more sense, but Jagex never put that into effect (except against HAM members) and I don't think they will ever. Edit:Bolded the info in
Umega
Completing the Fued quest will reward you with 15k thieving exp. That will give you a boost. Once your 45 thieve, pickpocket fremminiks, they are quite easy as they don't catch you out frequently. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug. You can be wearing nothing at all, or full rune. But still get caught as often as you did. See the Knowledge Database for more info.
