July 12, 200620 yr many people think that in the multi combat forest area where you can spawn tons of tree spirits that you get massage mage xp with ancients and multi spells.. THIS IS NOT TRUE!! you only get the xp for casting the spell. not hitting. you also dont get ANY MELEE XP OR RANGED XP IN THERE!! i have tryed. it was only when i spent 700 ice bursts that i noticed it DO NOT GO INTO THAT AREA THINKING THAT YOU ARE GOING TO LVL UP FAST!! July 12, 200620 yr Tree spirits? Like the ones from the random event? This is correct, all of the random even spawns only give you about .5 exp per hit done to them as opposed to the normal 4. Actually, it seems to be whatever damage you do, it only give you 1 exp. RSN: Mutashi

July 12, 200620 yr There is a minor benefit: Gather about 30 or more tree spirits (use prayer or die quickly and horribly). Kill them all with ice barrage. Gather up all the nice drops (mainly herb seeds, nature runes and rune axes). Not that great, but it's an option.
