meb
i know but going thru that cave with the lvl +100 things isnt gonna be easy for u with lvl 44 prayer..itll run out and so will your run That's why there are prayer pots... You overdosed on anti pots, and I suggest a lot of energy pots and at least 2 more prayer pots for the cave thingie. Other than that you'll be fine. And oh, there's a sticky in the clues forum that'll really help you with solving the puzzle. My sister did it for me :P . Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks. Aneron
I am currently working on this quest. I will detail the hard parts: zooknock's dungeon, this has to be the longest dungeon in all of runescape. make sure you bring energy potions, and maybe 1 dose of prayer potion. i did it with just 5 antipoison doses or so, 1 or 2 lobs, 9 doses of energy potion (didnt last me all the way through). Running out of prayer was not a problem for me, i ended up with 10 points or so left at the end. Of course, to make sure i didnt run out i wore initiate helm, plate, legs, holy symbol... i think that was it. its great because you lose 1 prayer point every 4-5 seconds. near the end i also switched melee protect off in between monster clusters. note that you have to go through this dungeon twice! the temple: in order to get your m'speak amulet, you have to use your enchanted bar with the fires in the dungeon in the temple. unfortunately, the entrance is guarded by two annoying guards that you cant walk through. i suppose its possible to time your sprint to the trapdoor, but i know that killing them doesnt work. i tried, and once they reach low health, they rear up and beat their chest and restore their health a little; they do this every single time their health gets low. luckily for me, several people who had already done the quest were there, and they teamed up on one of the guards and pulled him away from the trapdoor, and i got in the demon fight: ... i haven't reached this guy yet, but as i understand he has ridiculously high magic defence, and can hit 30+ with melee and magic. luckily there are some ledges where he cant melee you, and then you can use mage protect. then you can use whatever method that doesnt involve you standing next to him you can; people have suggested: cannons (around 100 cannonballs) halberding and of course plain old ranging or maging (i myself think ill mage it, i would rather go against a super-high mage defence than try to kill it with my ranging level supplies: i cant really recognize what your potions are, but around 8 energy potions total (for 2 times through the dungeon), lol you definetely have enough food, and around 10 antipoisons to be safe (should be more than enough) btw, i plan to make a thread about the best way to beat the demon, so i hope to get back to you on that :)
coldsorcu
you should get more energy restores because you will be doing ALOT of running
ninjai07
I just finished the quest two days ago and found the whole thing really quite easy ... just a very time consuming quest. I beat the demon with my cannon (it ended up taking 40 cannonballs but I was ranging as well). I was lvl 75 when i did it and could have done it MUCH lower. The only thing you really need is 43 prayer and prayer pots. Rather than using energy pots I had also saved up a few "strange fruits" and 7 was more than enough. Have Fun! "no trouble at all" theres your problem and they had millions in food and other items... you're just a little low leveled for it right now, raise your mage and def a lot before you do it
Lord_K
Bring a tele item, such as tablet, ectophial or elf crystal. I used a ring of dueling instead of a rol, and just reguarly restocked in alkahrid using the duel arena to heal and restore prayer. Then use the glider to get back to the gnome stronghold. It's alot easier if you have friends, then you won't have to go back so much. It's really a case of a not to difficult quest, use the Runetips guide for it and make sure you restock reguarly, like ninja said it's long but not that hard. If I had used guides and ignored all the hype that people give certain quests I'd of done alot of them at a lower level, it's simply a case of outwitting the machine.
