well at the top one, its better without render, just change the font put it over the scanline layer, make it (very) big and center it and then put it in a catchy color so you have an eye catching sig.

x is right it does pop a little too much

 

 

 

maybe the render is just too bright

 

 

 

This one looks nice but I suggest doing something with the blank part. Maybe you could put the text in that area and fancy it up a bit...
