Hey I just downloaded paint shop pro 8 and i need some tuts for space scenes and abstracts and uber stuff if any1 can give me some i would really appreciate it I also need to know how to make stars now lol . So if any1 could tell me how to make stars plz lemme know i would appreciate it

No, PSP is great for learning and I know many sigmakers that use PSP.

Yeah, i learned using psp, than moved to ps5 (lol thought it was 7 for the longest time. Kinda brings up a funny story.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I Went to download the Trial for ps7 right? Well i finish the download and i install it. About 3 months later i find out it was ps5 somehow (i got it off the offical site lol)

You can use Greg Martins tutorials. They are made for photoshop, but the idea is just the same. Just use the same techniques, it's really easy. If you don't understand how to relate the techniques from one program to the next, you shouldn't be doing the tutorial. Start off with something simpler then move up. :)

Just take the basic round fuzzy brush on size 2. Make the size jitter high, the opacity jitter meidum-high, the count 1 or 2, and scatter high. Then just brush all over... you can add a small glow to the layer if you want, and use a slightly bigger brush if you want bigger, brighter stars.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Greg Martin tutorials are fine too, I don't like his method of making stars...it seems needlessly complicated with all the noise filters and junk, and I don't like the blue hue the final product has (if you follow the tutorial word for word like most people around here)...although, his pieces are amazing, so maybe that's the way to go.
