weild knife in shield slot

I think that it would be very helpful to be able to weild the knife in the shield slot, it would not add any bonuses, and you could only weild while weilding a wc'ing axe in the weapon slot. this would be a very helpful option to all of us fletchers...

Hmm. so you can fletch 28 logs at once instead of 27. I'm not seeing a big benefit here. So, for 1k logs, you have to bank and withdraw an additional 2 times. Of course, you could be like Adrian Monk and have to work it out so it is even every time. If this is the case, chop 756 logs, go fletch them, and repeat.

you are compleetly right :) but i think its even lower:

 

1000 : 27 = 37,037

 

1000 : 28 = 35,715

 

thats: 1,3 trips diferent...

 

 

 

its nothing... cuz you are in the bank... its another story when you are you are runecrafting, then is it hours more when you arnt using a tiara...

 

 

 

example:

 

i have 100,000 ess, calculation (1 min per trip to air altar),

 

100,000 ess : 28 + tiara = 3572 trips to the air altar

 

100,000 ess : 27 + talisman = 3704 trips to the air altar

 

thats 132 trips more, and thats 2,25 hours more then when you are using a tiara... but it doesnt realy matter for flechting...

1.3 and 2.0 are still two trips, because you have to always round up.

 

 

 

I'm surprised you aren't using pouches when runecrafting. I can presently use 3 pouches and as long as they don't degrade, I'm getting 43 runes per trip, which is a significant increase in productivity.

 

 

 

Remember that the people who first got to 99 RC did it when they could only carry 27 at a time. I can do the same thing with about 63% better efficiency. You know what? I'm not going to complain. (My efficiency will get even better when I can use the huge pouch at level 75).

Ummmm, why sheild slot? I would say weapon slot. When Knife is equiped, every time you hover your mouse over logs, you get the "Fletch" option.

 

 

 

But, it's still not much of a time saver.

His desire is to carry both a wc axe and a knife in places other than the backpack. This way he can chop 28 logs and fletch them right away.

 

 

 

Other than the fact that the numbers really don't show a significant benefit of this, I have another problem. The default "click" on a knife is "use". If wielding becomes an option for a knife, this could present a problem if the wield is offered as the first item in the list (the default). Which means you'd have to always right click to use the knife on everything if you didn't want to use it from your wield position. And if you did, you'd have to deal with screen swapping and stuff. I'd say it would be more of a pain than it's worth.

OMG...You watch Monk too?? lol...the idea could usave a lot of time if you plan on doing a lot of fletching, but if you only are sing 100 logs, then it won't really make a difference.

He's my favorite defective detective. I don't watch him all the time, but it is an entertaining show.

 

 

 

The sad thing is I do this kind of thing - 756 logs, 140 iron bars, make potions in batches of 4's and 8's, etc. (I don't have any "partial" pots in my bank except a 1 or 2 dose anti-poison I keep on the top row for emergencies). Also, when I withdraw my money to deposit in Miscellania, I always leave exactly 100k behind. Pathetic, isn't it?

Erm... I guess you could use defenders as knives if you THAT desparate to fletch one more log in your inventory instead of those horrible 27 logs.

There was a time when people could weild knives.(max hit was around 30 at the time) It lead to ppl weilding more than 1 knife and being able to hit 30 at low strength levels.
