21 to 41 Mage [Best Way to do it?]

Featured Replies

I know I know, 21 to 41 mage isnt that tough and should not take that long. But I am limited to a strict amount of money. I have come up with a few ways to gain the amount of magic Experience I need.

Plan A: [Plan I am leaning twoards]

Casting 1246 Curse Spells

3738 Earth Runes

2392 Water Runes

1246 Mind Runes

Total Cost: 130-150k

Plan B:

Cast [around] 2000 Wind Bolts

Air Staff

[Around] 2000 Chaos runes

Total Cost: Around 250-300k

What I need from you guys is to evaluate these plans and tell me which one is easier and which one gives the exp the fastest. If you have any other ideas please share them as I am not limited to these ideas only. Since im a pure im going to buy the runes not craft them.

Thanks,

Nah, I can go from 1-40 mage in a day just casting wind strike at the lesser in the wizard tower. If it's slow with just windstrike you can start using water, earth and fire strikes if you want to. But, it works with just wind, and it's really cheap.

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

use curse, but buy a earth staff insted of 3k earths

tht saves u about 25k minimum

But can you bind curse to a staff? I was wondering that..

Anyone have an answer?

Hmm nice idea. Maybe I'll do it. Thanks for the tip though.

What do you mean when you say "bind"?

You can't autocast Curse but the Earth staff will save you from buying all of those Earth runes.

You should check the Tip It magic exp table to compare exp.

To get the average exp per cast, just add the "Exp gained" and "max hit" columns together.

You will find that the average exp per cast is:

Wind Strike: 7.5

Fire Strike 19.5

Curse: 29

Crumble Undead: 39.5 (table has an error for crumble)

etc

Hope this helps

i made it from 19 to 40 mage in 2 hours by casting curse, weaken and confuse in the varrock sewers on regular rats in the multi-combat zone.

if u hav decent (and are willing to) rc make the bodys and earths and weild a water staff the whole time, remmber this goes incredibly quick.

fire strike. Its cheap. Its fast. It hits pretty high. When your 39 use crumble undead. You get a ton of xp.
