"how to make a movie guide"

 

 

 

Welcome to this guide.

 

 

 

1. go to THIS site and download Camtasia 3 u need to give your e-mail but they wont do anything with is.

 

 

 

2. install Camtasia 3.

 

 

 

3. start it and you'll see that u can use it for 30 days but u have the key: just write down a name and add the code and u just bought it :P

 

 

 

MAKING YOUR MOVIE.

 

 

 

4. now im going to tell how u must film your screen. first open Camtasia 3. you get this

 

 

 

choose the option "start a new Project by recording the screen".

 

 

 

5. close Camtasia editor now (the green thing under in your screen) and you will only have this now:

 

 

 

 

 

 

ok do the following steps:

 

1: choose region of the screen and click next

 

2: click select region and select the region off what u want to film. and click next

 

3: make sure non of the checkboxes is checked and click next.

 

4: and next again u now get this screen:

 

 

 

 

6. make him smaller by clicking: view -> then minimal or compact. when u want to film just click: THE RED ROUND BUTTON :D

 

 

 

7. when u done click the grey block and you get a strange screen and click save and save the avi. movie on your pc.

 

 

 

EDITTING PART (how to put music on your movie etc...)

 

 

 

8. when u saved your movie after capturing you should get this:

 

 

choose edit my recording.

 

9. you will now get the big screen and you will see your movie there. first off all we are going remove parts off the movie.

 

 

 

10.ok play the movie to the part where u want to cut it in 2 parts. and click this button:

 

 

you will now have 2 parts.

 

 

 

11. lets remove the part you dont want. click on with your richt button and click "remove from timeline" its gone then.

 

 

 

12.your movie is alot shorter now but no music or callouts or transitions. ill tell how u can add callouts.

 

 

 

13.play to the part where you want to have a little text in the movie. then click on the following button:

 

 

 

 

14.you will see some buttons like "add callout" and "finnish" we need add callout click on it and you will get a new menu. here you can choose a callout type and add text you will always see the calout on the preview screen. make how you want him and click on OK.

 

 

 

15. once you made all the callouts you want click on "finish".

 

 

 

16.now add transitions this is because you will have a few parts of the pk trip in your timeline and you want somethign between them so click here:

 

 

 

 

17.you will now see the diferent transitions and a timeline with your parts. drag 1 off the transtions to the empty spot in your timeline to fill it. if you want to preview a transition click double on it. when you are done click "finish"

 

 

 

18.adding music or other stuff.

 

ok to add music or screen to the movie simple click:

 

 

and search your song or screen and click open.

 

 

 

19.drag your screen or music to the timeline and put them at the right place and you are nearly done.

 

 

 

Saving part!!!

 

 

 

20.lets now save your movie. once you are done with making your movie scheck it once just play it for a time and edit wrong things.

 

 

 

21.when you sure that you are done click here:

 

 

 

 

22.this screen will open:

 

 

click next.

 

 

 

23.you will see some types of media. we choose WMV.

 

because that is the smallest. click next.

 

 

 

24.ok uncheck the box: "screen capture files only" and click here:

 

 

when you did the thing what i said in the picture click next.

 

 

 

25.click next in this screen too.

 

 

 

26.Next again. and again

 

 

 

27.you can now choose the folder where tou want to save your movie before you choose 1 uncheck: "organize produced files into a subfolder" once you got the good folder typ the name of your movie and click next again

 

 

 

28.your pc will now Render your movie how longer the movie how longer it will take just wait. once its done it will starts and play.

 

 

 

29.when u think the movie is good close camtasia 3 and if you want save your edits into a Camproj.

 

 

 

NOW UPLOAD IT

 

 

 

30.i always put my films on this site.

 

 

 

31.if you are there click on the button next to Upload and choose your vid. then click UPLOAD and wait.

 

 

 

32.once he's done scroll down and you will see the link what you need.

 

 

 

33.this is extra how to open your dowload videos at rapidshare. once you got the link and you're at the site scroll down and click "free"

 

scroll down again and wait like 30-60 secs you can read there how many. once its done you can download.

 

*sometimes it says that you have requested to much in a hour it means that you have to wait 1 hour before you can download it*

you are saving it as a Camtasia Studio format video you need to change

 

 

 

the options so you save it as an avi format video

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

any way i wouldn't recommend using Camtasia Studio to edit your video i

 

 

 

would suggest you use another program, wmm preferred
