Is there going to be an rs3? why bother, what could you add to rs2 which would need a huge code makeover?

Oh and back to the topic....oh yes, belts :D

Seems like an okay idea, but not for carrying items, that would make it overpowered

Oh and you wouldnt make it out of metal, you would make it out of leather

oh p.s. Zaaps1, stop advertising your pictures in other threads :D

The items slot doesn't seem like it would really help, but adding a slot for weapons just as a dagger, scimitar, short sword or long sword sounds good, but not for any other weapon, anything bigger than that would actually ahve been stored in a seath (Or Sheath, whatever it is), and a bow wouold be stored in your quiver along with your arrows (Possible new Item for cape slot, seath and quiver, take out arrow slot?). Also the belts should have a slot for a rune pouch, where you attach a rune essence pouch, which will now hold your runes too. Adding the essence pouches to the belts and adding the belts would make the seercull bow less hated among mages, because now hey would have runes for other spells in the event that the seercull's special lowers their level belowthe level that is required to cast a spell.

I'm liking this idea. Maybe have it be like a utility belt, with a spot for a tool/weapon (sword, pick, etc), rope/grapple, knife, etc... some basic things that are often handy to have on you for basic skilling or questing, but you don't want to have constantly in your normal inventory.

I like this idea. Yeah, it would take some graphical re-working, but here are a couple things you could do with it:

1. Money pouch - a place to carry money not in your backpack. Might also be able to put some cut gems there as well. (In other words, a plausible alternative to increasing backpack space, which is something Jagex refuses to do)

2. Sheath - Be able to carry an additional weapon not in your inventory. To switch weapons, right click on it and select Wield. If it is in the wield position, right click on it and select sheath.

3. And, just for fun: Smith yourself a belt buckle. If you choose "Texas style" you get a belt buckle the size of a trash-can lid and it actually gives you a defensive bonus. Requires crafting to put it on.

One final note: you should be able to make your belt out of any kind of leather. Requires sheers, needle and thread, and a new tool - an awl (to punch the holes). The skill level requirements would be one level easier than vambraces for the corresponding leather type.

Hmm, money bag doesnt seem too bad, belt buckle... mabye something basic but not 'Texas Style' remember, runescape is based in Europe (I think) during the time in which Texas did not exist.
