killmenub
Note: this doesnt belong in help and advice as i'm not simply asking where they are, i'm going to list the places I find/told about, give exp rate an hour, for 1 defence pures, to help others train. Well i started to make a f2p pure, i was looking for trainning places, once 40 attack 50 strength i couldn't find any decent places to train, the point of this thread is to get a good idea on where to maximise exp for f2p pure trainning. List so far: Monster - Place - Exp a hour (with 40 attack 50+ strength). Minotuars - Security Stronghold - 24k exp/h Barbians - Barbian village - 17k exp/h How can you help? Fill out this form, note you must be 1 defence, and have 40 attack 50+ strength. Monster: Place: Strength level: Exp a hour: All helped needed, thanks in advance, no flaming please if i did get the wrong but i'm sure it belongs here ^^. Scars
Monster:Dwarfs(Level 10|Hp 16) Place:Dwarven Mines. It's quite a good place even if you don't have food since monastary is near so that you can heal(yea it's a pain to walk there). Monster:Zombies(Level 18|Hp 24) Place:Edgeville Dungeon They can get annoying sometimes since they hit 2's often. But when your strength level is high you can take them down easy without hurting yourself much. Monster:Moss Giants Place:Varrock Sewers Multi. Yes you can argue that this is not the place to be,but once you know how to stay down there then its one of the best places to be at.Stay there down for a while until the Moss giants stops attacking you & then you can stay down there for long.Only good on a server where few people are there since can't take the damage alone in case Moss comes after you.The better your strength the more xp you get & drops. Monster:Ghosts (Level 19 I think) Place:Varrock Sewers Good xp but annoying to hit on sometimes. Good luck finding XP per hour. Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig! Scars
Lessers on Karamja? Fish some lobbies cook and go kill. You seriously can't think it would be fun for a Str pure with 1def. In any case if your talking about Range pure then I don't think that the thread starter meant that. I don't think that's F2P If it is, i've never gone down there -.- Yep,it is F2P & you surely haven't been there. :) Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig! killmenub
thanks for ideas, and lesers? Lol, you crazy or something? =p IGN: HesFearless. -Jamie
Chaos_Reborn
Well, since you're a pure, training on all mosters above level 30 is crazy. Give the goblin village a try. Also give the edgeville guards a try, since they're so close to a bank. You might want to try on them once your strength is higher, allowing you to kill them sooner, since they do hit through 1 def quite easily. Scars
monster: hill giants where: edgeville dungeon combat lvl: 28 multi-combat zone: no I think you would run out of food quickly or need to use a lot of food on them if you wish to train on them.I think they hit upto 4,so that can get really annoying.Anything hitting above 3's wouldn't be good to train on unless you've got lot of food to spare. Chaos_Reborn
Scorpions on top of the volcano is very good too, since you can just head to the general store to buy cooked tunas for 30 gp each (if the stock is large) Visit my Runescape comedy website, based on in-game screenshots. killmenub
I'm currently 56 strength, nearly 57, going for 80 with 40 attack, at moment just been trainning pking, but i use a hell of a lot of lobbies fast. Scorpians are ok, not the best exp ever... Drawfts use to be great exp (where you bought a cannon) but they updated so only 4 drawfts spawn there instead of the 15 that use to, so its slow exp waiting for them to spawn. Monks are usless to me as i 2 hit them so they cant heal :\ More suggestions welcome. IGN: HesFearless. -Jamie

You don't need to wait there for them to respawn.Just go down in the dwarven mines there are plenty after you go down the ladder or else you can go down & near the anvils many dwarfs there as well. The dwarfs at the top are armoured & have weapons now I think, which isn't any fun to kill. booduz69
Enemy: Guards Where: North of Edgeville bank Once you hit 40 Strength, this is a great place to train. Near a bank so you can run for food. I'll have to check out exp an hour though. 500th Post! :3>
peche
Flesh Crawlers... Stronghold lvl 2 str lvl: 75 xp/h: very very very much Ankou's Stronghold lvl 4 str lvl: 75 xp/h: also very very very much I've been training in the stronghold sice the beginning of it... I was str lvl 70 att lvl 70 def 70 when i went in now i'm 75 in all of them... :-) Also range and magic trains good there :D
killmenub
Peche this is for 1 defence pure trainning areas... I'm going to try out drawfts, then guards i'll let ya know exp per a hour. IGN: HesFearless. -Jamie
Zaaps1
I keep saying this but your exp is based on your hit times 4. So obviously any monester with low defence will do if you are looking for only experence. My suggestion is a monester area where it is not crowded with people, crowded with monester, the monester has low defence and high hit points. Since you are a pure, lessers is out of the question or any other monster that hits higher than a 3. Cows work for me an im over 50 levels above them! Of course people are going to say some yadda yadda yadda about how a spot like this is hard to find but there are at least I can think of f2p: Cows-crafting guild scorpions-draven mines, chasm mines, wilderness hobgoblins-crafting guild, hobgoblin mine skeletons-wilderness,very beginning of the cave that elvargs in bears-wilderness zombies-wilderness,varrock sewers ~It's Super Effective! (The Zaaps Blog)~My YouTube Channel, where you get to watch me go around and make a fool out of myself and all comp capersGuides:~Yeah I wrote them once~Suggestions:~Yeah I made those once~
peche
Well where can i read that in you're post... Maybe put it in it :P  And bring some food for crawlers... Would work too :P
ryankart
Don't quote me on this but wizards in the wizard tower were pretty good. I havn't tried them in rs2 though, I'll have to train my pure up a bit before I can see if they're any good now.
killmenub
I'm 1 magic and get owned by wizards  Also tried drawfts, were about 20k exp a hour, i'll edit for post later when i can be bothered. I tried zombies in wilderness, got 4k exp very fast but they totally own my 1 defence IGN: HesFearless. -Jamie
Scars
Zaaps1:Hobgoblins are out of the equation since they're agressive for 1def Pures. They keep hitting 2's & 3's.Its a different story on armour, since they do very less damage when you wear addy or rune armour. Skeletons are also not good since they are also agressive for 1def Pures. You want to kill something which doesn't keep hitting you all the time.Skeletons & Hobgoblins keep hitting. Therefore, wasting lot of food. Killmenub:Try the Zombies which are in Edgeville dungeon. When you reach there, Moss giants are exactly opposite to the Zombies. They are Level 18 with 24hp & without axes. The wilderness Zombies have axes I think or its multi there. Another suggestion Killmenub is that since your going for 80strength,your gonna need that 59magic for fire blast.Since your gonna come across Rune fulls,so increasing the need to hybrid. killmenub
It's not multi at zombies in wildy, and does them having a axe and not having a axe even make a difference on runescape? :| And 1 magic for life, well until i'm 90 attack and strength on p2p :0 IGN: HesFearless. -Jamie
