In f2p where are the few best spots to powermine iron, and where are the few best spots to bank it?

Varrock East and West mines are good for banking ore.

Varrock East mine/bank pair, if that is too crowded, use the Varrock West mine/bank pair. If both of these are crowded, switch to a different world. The Varrock East spot is very popular in f2p worlds. I have never seen the iron there unused for more than a couple minutes. I wouldn't suggest trying to bank iron from the dwarven mines as the walk to the bank is just too long, you're better of just logging until you find a world with one of the varrock mines reasonably vacant.

 

 

 

For powermining:

 

 

 

Al Kahrid has the best spot for powermining iron in f2p. I would highly suggest being combat level 29 or higher so the scorpions there will not attack you. You can see from this map:

that the spot to powermine is the cluster of 3 iron rocks high up on the western side of the mine. If you can't find a world where this spot is unused, the next spot I would try is the rimmington mine west of port sarim.
