Yea, it does have 100,000 people a day, but compare that to games that have millions. The control scheme makes or breaks a game, plain and simple. (see Nintendo Wii) You can't have a game that runs on mouse only controls. It's gotten this far, and is a good game, but think of the potential it really has. If Jagex just made these simply adjustments to the game, it would be twice as good. They need to stop giving us new stuff, and go back and fix the mechanics of the game. (see controls in castle wars...) If you had a car with a broken steering wheel, would you install a new stereo system, or a new steering wheel? This game's no different. If it aint broke, don't fix it. The control scheme works very well for me thank you! Now, as for the actual update... i belive it is simply a taste of things to come, what with the new gnome quest. I don't think that at this stage the control system can be significantly changed without completely overhauling RS. The reason that RS gets such worse reviews than WoW is the quality of graphics. fugiman477 Posted August 7, 2006 Share Posted August 7, 2006 I have currently completed 14 hard tasks. here is what i have gotten total one gnomeball five loop half keys (one at a time) two uncut jades (two at a time) three uncut opals (bunches of three) two uncut red topazs (one at a time) six toadflax herbs (bunches of three) three uncut emeralds (bunches of three) one uncut diamond Locations: bleemadge-top of white wolf mountain (next to glider) gnormadium avlafrim- feldip hills glider wingstone- south of nardar Proffessor Imblewyn-inside the yanille magic guild brambickle- trollweiss mountains hazelmere- island east of yanille ambassador gimblewap- next to king lathas in ardgerone castle pilot dabur- alkarid glider king bolren- gnome tree village ambassador spanfipple- white knight castle If anybody knows exactly where ambassador spanfipple is in the castle or who and where the gnome who is "an off duty pilot/guard for white wolf mountain. you can probably find him in the closest place that serves alchol" i would greatly apreciate it. I quite like the idea of getting more food brought in to me at places like dag kings (never been but cansee it would be useful) fight caves? (does it work? ubahman Posted August 8, 2006 Share Posted August 8, 2006 fun update. =D except for that time when I wastied 3 dueling ring charges only to find that the gnome was INSIDE mages guild and im a level 52 mage =/.
