CHEAP magic levels

Featured Replies

i really need some help. could you tell me the cheapest possible way of getting my magic from 46 to 55 (so i can hi alch), even if its quite slow. i dont have any much money to spare, and ill probably have to get some more to get to 55, so as cheap as possible please! it would be awesome if anyone could think of a way the would allow me to get some of the money back in the process

thanks in advance!

thxs vibro for the sig ^_^.

My sugestion, even though it will take a long time, is the Alchamacy room in the mage training arena. Wait for an item to alch for free and LOW alchamcey it. You will only need about 10 natures and 30 fire runes and you will never need to buy more runes if you only alch the free ones.

Trying is just the first step in failure.

curse training with full rune on and no ammy use it on the zombies in varrok sewers and shoot accross the river.

fire strike my good fellow fire strike. I usually train on the lesser at the top of the wizard tower. DO NOT i repeat DO NOT train with curse. After about 200 spells you will be bored out of your mind and you wrist will hurt. Fire strike has an auto cast and it also raises your hitpoints in the process. Also quite cheap especially if you make some of the runes yourself

if you really need runes, go to dark wiz place. they drop a lot of runes and they don't hurt you much if your mage is high. Plus, people die there often too.

DO NOT i repeat DO NOT train with curse. ...

2 Curse spells give about the same exp as 3 Fire Strike spells...

So the OP can reach his goal with about only 3402 Curses instead of 5103 Fire Strikes.

Either spell costs about 30 gp to cast so Curse will save him about 51000 gp overall.

Since the OP wanted the cheapest way to level mage,

Curse would be a better choice than Fire Strike.

Even if the OP made all of the runes himself, it would still cost him less time

since the Body altar is closer to a bank than the Mind altar

and since he needs fewer Bodies anyway.

The downside of Curse is, of course, that you can't autocast it.

Hope this helps
