August 9, 200619 yr Port draynor.. Do you like the sound of it? the two cities are extreemly close to each other. they are only divided by a wall. what if the boundary between the walls were broken? a) choas would ensue B) Port draynor would be born!! if you chose "b" then you are thinking my way. lets start out with the two different cities. PORT SARIM COMMUNITY port sarim is a nice community. It features a jewelery store, a battleaxe shop, a bar, a grocery store, Part of the rat pits, a magic shop, and even a jail! well it seems complete.. you even have a farm to the north.. but the closest bank is in draynor, and its always triring to go back to that one over and over again! But for members you can go to the viod knight o utpost for a bank. but thats a long way to. TRANSPORTATION For F2P port sarim is the one of the most important cities. THsi is because It is the gateway to krajama. the fishing tycoon area. if you are P2P then you may board 2 other ships as well. monks surround a ship to go to entrana, and a squire guards the bout to the viod knight outpost. DRAYNOR VILLAGE COMMUNITY Draynor is imporant is the RS world because of the bank. seriously thats why we mostly go there. draynor isnt very exiting, but there is 2 quests to do here! if you are P2P there are some stalls to steal from though. TRANSPORTATION draynor is where you will find somebody to sail your boat in the dragon slayer quest and is one of the location the ammy of glory will teleport you to. other than that theres not much else.. NOW IF WE COMBINE THE TWO CITIES INOT A NEW CITY... I IMAGNE IT WOULD LOOK LIKE: PORT DRAYNOR (click on the link please) COMMUNITY Port draynor now is bigger, has a bank, and new fishing spots! the market has been moved to south of the bank and also to the left of the pub. all the quests have been moved to where they belong (in their old houses) and the pig pen is still id old draynor. With the pressence of a new bank there should be more buisness here, and a reason to use the reasources around the area (the mine) TRANSPORTATION Port draynor still has as many boats as before, exect that in the dragon slayer quest ned is found in a house near the grocer. the spirit tree patch is still there, and the glory ammy is no longer a "draynor problem"! (NOTE: I tried my best with the map, and trying to copy "Draynor" onto it! please dont be a flammer...I did my best) Draynor field How the mighty have fallen... Draynor feild is the field for the city "Port draynor." the glory still teles here and the only point of interst is the jail. Thsi is where most of the "prince ali rescue" quest goes on. other than that the cabbages are still pretty good. (NOTE!!!! I couldn find and good land to fill in the city space so I took some samples from near draynor manor! Please dont flame me on this I tried really hard..) I know I have a lot of work to do still, or jagex would take like 10 years to get it in, but what do you think? O:) [/u] <-- this one better work.... >__<
August 9, 200619 yr What about the willows? Where would they be? "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is."
August 9, 200619 yr There could be a lake near the bank, and the willows would be there Every path you have trod, through wilderness and through war, has led to this road...
August 9, 200619 yr unfortuneatly i dont think this is a good idea. it would become a lot easier for law running and that might cause some trouble in rs economy. i gave up running cause it took so long and cursing that wall every single trip. i thought that an agility shortcut would help but again running laws would become all the more easier. sorry if i shot it down :? lost rights to my dark red text >:( 12/20/06 - QUEST CAPE OF ACHIEVEMENTBarrows sets: guthan, verac, dharok, maybe ahrim eventually <- lost to a hacker whole stole everything of worth from my bank
August 10, 200619 yr instead of moving all the stuff over to port sarim, maybe they could just kill the wall(berlin) and place in a dozen useless houses that spawn men and junk... Quality posting at its finest.
August 10, 200619 yr just remove the wall... they already removed a huge part of it running from edgeville to the old farm of falador Former Leader of The Tal Shiar Alliance - An Original Tip.it ClanMember of the Wilderness Guardians and Founder of the Silent GuardiansFounder of The Conclave - A Tip.it Clan institutionTip.it Times author (click for all my articles) - When I use the wrong reasons to make the right statement, argue the reason, not the statement.MSSW4 General - Did we kick your ass too?Check us out!==> No seriously, if you like FREE GP, XP and Dung tokens, as well as Community, Opportunity and above all FUN... <==CLICK IT!
August 10, 200619 yr Here's my take on the idea: 1. Leave all the buildings right where they are now. 2. Tear down portions of the wall 3. Build a NEW Wall surrounding the entire area (have the player do this as an extention of construction?) 4. Build a castle, and have a new king declare the area the New Kingdom of Draynor-Sarim. Might be some interesting quests to help him get his kingdom established and set up trade relations between his neighbors, and to prevent the inevitable civil war, all that. Fun fun! - Sligo I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant.

A whole new kingdom for a new city? Whats next, Catherby Kingdom? Either part of Mistalin or Agsania. August 12, 200619 yr I wouldn't mind it... couldn't do any harm, i would think :-k PORT DRAYNOR (click on the link please) Sorry to say but that's a pretty bad pic lol  PLAY this awesome game...Clicky
August 12, 200619 yr A whole new kingdom for a new city? Whats next, Catherby Kingdom? Either part of Mistalin or Agsania. You realize that historically, this wasn't unheard of. The king would deed land (with a city and castle) to his cousin. A couple generations later, their decendants decide they don't like each other and they split the land into two nations. So, yeah, theoretically, I can see divisions like this. Taverly/Burthorpe is a logical division because of the geographical separation (White Wolf mountain to the west, Wall to the east), for example. It's an interesting discusion, but I'm thinking Jagex isn't going to make this kind of change. They'd rather expand the map and add new lands to explore - which is fine with me. - Sligo I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant.
