Even if you do get MSpaint, it doesn't come with a skills included package.

Pixel sigs by me.

Pixel Art

If you're too cheap for photoshop, get The GIMP. It's ALMOST as good. :)

photoshop trial- grunge sigs, abstract, tech, vector, pixel.

Adobe is a company not a program...

Adobe makes image, animation and moive-editing software, but photosohp is their big hit.

Personally I know of a few..some I use some..not so much.

For simple images, either:

Pixel sigs with MSPaint

Landscapes with Bryce

Abstracts with Photoshop 7.0/Elements (either or)

For Animations use:

Ulead Gif Animator forsimple animation

Imageready for... Confusion

Macromedia Flash MX (something) for flash

That's what I know

what do most ppl use for pixel flash things????and umm are all of those free??

i use MSpaint for my main images, PSP to make it transparent and animation shop to animate, but that just for pixel art. for more 3d art i use bryce and photoshop.

{EDIT}

oh i also have a hint for if you want to use paintshop pro but cant afford it, i used to do this when i first started making graphics. download the free trial and just befor it comes to the end of your 30 day trial period, set the date on your computer back 20 days or so. as the trial goes by the date on your computer you can easyly use it for longer just by changing it, i used it for about a year like this, untill i could afford the actual program.

Yes!! Anything pixel you can use MS Paint for...It's all about the person's skill not the program when it comes to pixel art...

Look, there is no better program for making images. It's all down to how you use the program, and what you can do with it. I can work seemlessly between Photoshop and Paintshop Pro, others prefer just one, or hate the other because they arent used to it.

Paintshop Pro, Photoshop, The Gimp and MS Paint can all be used for everything from airbrushed paintings to pixel work. Bryce is a very poor program, and shunned upon in the 3D community as its more of a drag drop application, rather than effort, although, experienced users of Bryce can put it to real use.
