many times while im playing runescape i will be typing in the chat window and press backspace 3 times in a row and all of a sudden my internet explorer presses the back button on me and im taken back to the world select screen. Now this doesnt happen often but it just happened 3 times in the past 5 minutes so i thought i would see if anyone knew how to stop it.

 

 

 

Anyone have the same problem? Know how to prevent it?

Uh yea, its happened to me when i pk and stuff. Its just that when your press backstpace when their isnt anythin to erase mostly accidental it does that.

 

 

 

SolutioN: try not pressing it:)

Juts click on the chat area of the screen before you hit backspace just to fix incase. That's what I do incase it might happen.

if you hold shift or ctrl while pressing backspace, you won't go back

 

 

 

also, you have to click outside of the runescape game screen (somewhere in the black background surrounding it) before many key commands will work (such as ctrl + n and backspace)

It happens when the adds reload. Stupid adds. Though the 24 free ipods I've won, the ps3, 15 psps, and the 8 xbox 360s I've gotten sure are sweet.

Ads, advertisements on top of the game screen load up new ads, making the runescape window inactive, you would have to click ingame or on the chat screen just for it to be active again.

 

 

 

This is wierd if its happening to you on internet explorer, i thought it only happened on firefox.
