as im training my fletching, i have made a few thousand unstrung willow long bows. are these useful in any way? can i sell them? and is it worth stringing them?

Generally, people don't string bows under yew. Most people "powerfletch" their way up using willow unstrungs, because it's the cheapest/fastest way. Then when reaching yew longs or up, they buy yew logs and strings, high-alch and make a profit.

 

 

 

I, however, being stubborn and a total leveller, make my own bowstrings and strung all bows I fletched. It gained me a couple of crafting levels as well...

Well, it'll make you some cash. But overall it probably won't be worth it. If you want to sell ten at a time, go for it, but I wouldn't.

just place them on the 2nd row from bottom and change your settings so that you have only one-button-mouse (in rs client) and get to the right spot and selling them is super easy.

 

 

 

you can also set your keyboard to act as a mouse by pressing left alt + shift + num lock, now numpad 5 works as your leftclickbutton. in this case also you must set rs so that it thinks you only have one button in mouse. this is supereasy selling as you can't move the mouse much so it stays in right place and few k is sold in matter of minutes.

Nope, i think the rockbottomprice for willow long (u) is 16gp. And does it really matter? It would take millions of log-ins and -outs to get at least some profit from them since allmost all the general stores in rs are flooded with willow long (u)'s. I even saw 140k in fally general once :shock:

It will never drop that low. I'm unsure of the exact price (seems to be 16 ^), but it won't go down that low.

my advice to you is buy at a general store the logs for 12 gp each fletch the logs and sell the unstrung bows for 16 gp i get a 4 gp profit :shock: :shock:

umm you can always high alch the bows

that would require nats which are worth more than the bow
