I Am Tired of everyone paying to use a guilded alter and i thought

 

wat the hell... ill make 1 for everyone to use for free

 

so here i am

 

used 1k oak logs

 

2900 left

 

 

 

when my buddy asks me

 

 

 

him: what r u doing?

 

 

 

me: im making oak larders i said

 

him:why?

 

me:So i can get 63 construction for guilded alter

 

him:guilded alter?

 

(I explain wat it is)

 

me:can u get me a marbe block? i need 4 gold leafs and 4 marble blocks to make it

 

him:how much r they?

 

me:50k hold on let me check

 

me:HOLY ***** there 325k each!!! that changes everything

 

 

 

i relized that a alter would cost 1.8 mill to make...

 

i would be using all my money for 63 construction and 4 gold leafs

 

i wouldnt have enough money for 4 marble blocks...

 

maybe 1

 

 

 

so im asking this now

 

 

 

should i make guilded alter?

 

or give up...

Hey yeah also Gilded Altar takes 75 construction. Even with hey hey a

 

Crystal Saw and a +6 boost from spicy stew, you're a few lvls short there.

 

 

 

EDIT: I think you're angling for free marble blocks there, If I didn't know better.

you can't make a guilded alter at 63 construction, jagex made an error in the knowledge base (and htey changed it now). the current max bonus is +9 using the crystal saw (knowledge base used to say +12, but ws changed to +9 since the tea and stew don't stack)

you can get itat 69, like i did (my idea bobby :shame: ), but if it cuts too much into ur budget then you should stop

currently i have 1.5 mill from selling my torags (and So far from construction

 

 

 

so around 4800 More Oak Logs into planks times about 250 each for plank and 40 for log (290 each)

 

 

 

will be 1.38 mill

 

 

 

so then i guess ill have 66 construction will do 2 quests for saw and stew and make a guilded alter

 

 

 

i will have 132k left

 

i guess i will then sell my whip for 2.6 mill so i will have around 2.7 mill

 

make the guuilded alter (1.8 mill) and then

 

 

 

sell my obby sheild (450k) so i will have about 1.4 mill

 

i will then alch 2k yew longs at a time

 

 

 

while ppl use me alter :D

It depends. If you plan on using your gilded altar often for prayer, it's more than worth it in the long run.

 

 

 

Also, I would recommend Runecrafting or Barrows for money making, you could make the gp to afford the altar in no time.
