letting go.

I don't know how to do this with certain things. Relationships, loss, regrets. I always could never just let go.

NO, I'm not posting this to get replies like "blogger.com" I need help :(

The best advice I can give on letting go of love is to find someone else. It doesn't have to be serious, just fun. Act happy and eventually the feeling will come.

true. but i've tried finding others, i've yet to get that one off my mind.

Don't immediatly try to fill the void with something/someone else. Chances are it won't work and will make you feel worse.

Time heals all wounds.

I remember when my dog died, i'd known her all my life. Then, one day I came home from school to find my parents had it put down. They never told me either, so I couldn't prepare myself. Even now I still want to grieve. I never got to say a proper goodbye.

It was about 3/4 months before I got over not having a dog about, and about another 2 months later we decided to get another one. It doesn't fill the void, but it made me feel a lot better.

I have plenty of regrets, I should probably tell someone, but I kinda just bottle them up. Which can lead to sleepless nights. :(

Just let time do everything, keep your mind off of it.

If you haven't already, why not see a counsellor?

Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

^ I'd really recommend it. It really is not condescending and they're far more likely to give you better advice than you'll find here.

I'm sure it could even be anonymous if you wanted it, but there's really nothing to be ashamed about doing so.

Best advice ever. Your public school or university should have free counseling services. It does not mean that you are crazy...but it is a good thing to let it out to someone who knows what they are doing, and has dealt with the same situation many times.

I just talk to friends and it helps too. Usually. But yeah, thanks guys.

Keep busy and don't try to rush it. It'll happen one day, but if you're constantly thinking of ways to force it, that won't let you forget. It's just a feeling, and if you don't let it stop you doing other things, it's ok :)

For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns.

The time when the living and the dead exist as one.

keep it in your heart, but as a positive thing. remember the good times and cherish them. you dont have to let go completely, just close the chapter.

a good advice is to keep yourself busy in the first time. and control your thoughts.
