I need help to get from level 56 mining (193427 Exp) up to 60 so i can go to the mining guild but it's taking so long!

 

 

 

I'm currently mining at the edgeville dungeon mine, is this the best place for me? (This mine has 7 coal and 1 mith)

 

 

 

Any Suggestions, Tips or advice?

I'd just pay for membership and go mine to a p2p world...

 

 

 

But for a f2p southeast Varrock mine with 4 iron rocks would be the best place. A crowded world, mine all the time and drop the ores. For slower exp you could also bank the iron.

Believe it or not, I suggest not getting your hopes up about the mining guild. There are so many macro-ers and players in there it's hardly worth it.

 

 

 

I suggest training to ANY goal, in level 9 skele mine. If you wear leather, and have a suffice defense level you can get a good defense. I bring around 5 food and end up with full inventory of coal. :]

IMO, iron is so much better to mine than coal.

 

 

 

At your level, you should be able to get iron in one hit, while each coal is gonna take much longer to mine (not to mention the slower respawn rate). Plus, each iron gives you 35 exp while each coal only gives you 50 exp. At pretty much all levels, you can mine iron more than twice as fast as coal so that pretty much covers the exp advantages.

 

 

 

If you save your ores, iron is even better than coal cash-wise. You can expect at least 100 gp per iron, while with coal, you can expect up to 200 gp per (180 is more realistic). At level 84 mining, I can expect to grab a load of iron in 5 minutes, while a load of coal takes 10-20 minutes. You do the math :)

Just power mine. Ask noobs if they want free irons and trade it tot them instead of waisting time droping it.
