Livin' Day to Day, with Turk!

Hello, just a humble RS player here, who happens to be aligned with a certain "Turkish82" from the realm of RuneScape. Now, as much as I'm sure he'd like to keep his own 'blog, I've yet to see any sort of computer, let alone internet around RS. I do, however, have a stack of parchment, with hastily scribbled notes in charcoal that I can write down, and record for Mr. Turk. So, without further ado, let us begin:

I happened upon no new writings today, so I assume Mr. Turk is still killing "An-koo's." However, I did find a few notes here and there that may be of interest to any readers, and shed some light on who he is.

It would seem that many people are confused when they happen to find out my name, Turkish82. Now you may be inclined to pronounce it as "Turkish Eighty-Two," but that simply is not the case. I am "Turkish, the Eighty-Second." I am from a long line of Turkish's that date back far into the early 4th age. If I ever have a child of my own, he will simply be known as "Turkish83," or "Turkish the Eighty-Third."

I have come to the conclusion that Gnome's thoroughly distress me. I recently aided the Gnome wizard, Brimstail in a task, and there is something about them that does not set right with me. It has nothing to do with their height, because I am perfectly fine when around anyone of Dwarven race: Dwarves are not much taller. I think it may possibly be their pointed heads, but I am not sure. I am in no way judging their character based upon this, because Gnome people are genuinely friendly, if not a tad secretive. Not only has Brimstail asked for my help, but King Narnode Shareem himself has, as well as Aluft Jr.

Not to mention, I have a knack for the sport of Gnomeball.

There is a mysterious old man that follows me around constantly. I will be minding my own business, and turn around to find him right there. It is quite startling, especially when you are expecting to be alone, only to find him there. Generally he parts with a gift of some coins, or those nasty spinach rolls, but there are times that he will whisk me off somewhere. I do not understand this, and I think it is simply a cry for attention on his part. Perhaps if he didn't intrude on other people's privacy, or stop being so rude as to interrupt whatever task you are doing, then he might have more friends. He has, afterall, told me his is a lonely chap.

I have been pondering names for my Abyssal Whip lately. It has been a trusted ally by my side for awhile now, and I thought it only fitting to personalize the object, and perhaps give it some life. There are a few names that have been floating through my head, such as "Elanor," "Abagail" and "Priscilla." I think I may settle on "Grimrock the Slayer of All That is Mighty." It has a ring to it, do you not think so?

Well, there are a few musings that may be insightful to his character, and ramblings of his mind. Perhaps I shall post a few more when I stumble upon them. I am expecting to recieve new writings of his daily doings within the next couple of days, so stay posted!

I've stumbled upon a strange creature recently, in the depths of a massive dungeon located in the center of the Barbarian Village. I should say, the entrance is in the center, and the massive expanse of this dungeon surely travels close to that which is found in Edgeville. Anyway, this strange creature is located on the fourth level of this large complex. There are many a skeleton, and skulls lining the walls and floors; the earth charred a midnight hue. It is a very somber place, to say the least. To reach these unnatural abominations, you must travel through many gates, which ask ridiculous questions about "bank pins," and "passwords." I have no idea what they speak of, so I simply nod my head, and pass by.

These creatures, if you have been curious up this point, are a grotesque skeleton, covered in what appears to be pink slime, or jelly. I've no clue, but many have now fallen to my trusty Abyssal Whip. To my suprise they drop copious amounts of the much sought after blood rune. I believe they are called an "An-koo," or something of that like, as I've only heard of it in passing. Perhaps if I challenge enough of these foes, I can gather plenty of those blood runes, and sell them for lovely money! Yes, then the dreams of this adventurer could become closer to reality, as my house would surely begin to reflect my wealth, which there is a current lack there-of.

Already I am skimming through the dwarven stonemason's catelogue of fine marble, and imported gold leaf, while lounging in my parlour. Perhaps a gilded altar for my own person shrine to our great lord Saradomin would be in order? All I know is that after a long day's adventuring, I long to return to my home in Yanille, and rest my weary feet by the fireplace.

I should note that I am tired of the constant visits by that rowdy dwarf. Always wanting to hear my tales, and offering his beer and kebabs. Even with my house locked up he always manages to find a way in. It infuriates me to no end, especially since I have never actually invited him into my home. I also swear that if he throws one more rock through my windows, I will replace the dummy in my hangman game with his drunken self.

It saddens me that I now must wear these atrocious goggles wherever I go. Apparently I failed some sort of "eye-exam" they held in Edgeville. I admit, I can see quite clearly with them, more-so than without, but they definately do not aid my sense of fashion in any way.
