  1. The tip of it's nose also doesn't disappear randomly either.
  2. (Go ahead and close, or delete my thread, his was made first.) Here's the image for those too lazy to actually go to the page itself:
  3. My apologies if this has already been found, or covered .. .. If you go to the RuneScape Knowledge Base and type in "Bulldog," you are taken to a page that says "Thanks for using the Knowledge Base," with this image following it. Any speculation on what this might hold for the future?
  4. I have a feeling this new altar will let you create a random type of rune. Maybe you will have the chance to create something that you are not able to make yet, hence the unpredictable part, and all the other mumbo-jumbo about it. I'm also pretty sure the whole makeover mage part is talking about the NPC children in the game, not us .. EDIT: Amen.
  5. I can see them making a weapon equivalent to the whip, but it can only train strength and defense, since the current whip does not offer a strength training option. It wouldn't be some "super weapon" that would destroy the whip, since it would not have an accurate or controlled option per say, but it would definitely fill that strength training gap the whip made.
  6. I love the new mutton chops, and vests. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m thinking of starting up a RS Motorcycle gang. Maybe commission the Keldagrim dwarves to conjure up some steam-powered cycles.
  7. I had similar idea too those, i thought of a twin blade sword, and a boomerang, but i thought for a boomerang, it wouldnt have ammo so it would require an upkeep of some sort which would be expensive for jagex to implement it, Karils x-bow needs ammo and upkeep! The boomerang would actually work if it was a crystal item. That way it would have the upkeep needed, without the consumption of ammo; just like the crystal bow. Make it fast like the MSB, but it would have the degrading effect keeping it from becoming some kind of super weapon. I also liked the "Falcon," and "Orb" idea. The orb could actually be like a container for certain runes, while giving a small magic boost. Maybe equivilant to the Guthix or Zamorak prayer book. You could enchant it with a certain amount of runes (that you have to provide), therefore freeing up inventory space. It could only hold so many though, like say between 1-5k (depending on the type of rune). It would also show up on the ground if you die, since it's really nothing more than a container. The Falcon should come from an egg, and you'd have to raise and train it to become a proper weapon. Maybe it wouldn't be so much a weapon as a "special attack" sorts. It would be worn on your shield slot, so it could only be used with single-handed weapons, but every now and then (like a Barrow's set-effect) the Falcon may fly from your arm and do damage to whatever you are attacking. In that sense it wouldn't need ammo, because it would be more like a random special-attack. I thought those were some very clever ideas, and just felt like elaborating on them further. I know it really has nothing to do with 3rd Age.
  8. By free, I assume you mean gift? If so, then it would be the Robin Hood Hat that my closest friends chipped together to get me. It means a whole hell of alot to me because of that, especially since my friends don't really know one another that well. They got together to do that for me .. It's probably one of my most prized objects I own for the simple sentimentality attached to it.
  9. I have lots of memories regarding RuneScape, some good and some bad. Most of them were when I was a lower level, it just seemed that there wasn't as much drama then. I still have good memories today, but they don't seem as "innocent" as they did back then, when the world of RuneScape was still new to me. Anyway, some of my favorites I'll list .. Finding my way to Varrock after getting lost in the area around Draynor Manor. I rarely left Varrock after that, and spent all my time killing the Goblins near the back entrance to the Edgeville Dungeon where the Hill Giants were. I remember being so ecstatic when I got a brass key from someone to go down there. It felt like some place that only a few people knew about (which wasn't the case), and that I was lucky to be privy to it. I trained on those Goblins for a long time too. Far longer than a person of my level should have, but I didn't like to take risks. I chopped the Oak trees near Gertrude's house, and then sold the logs to the general store for 2gp each. I thought that was good cash back then, and used to camp there at the general store looking for items that I could buy. I remember buying an Amulet of Power for 4k, and getting compliments for wearing it. Then explaining that I only paid 4k instead of 10k, and people were amazed, and told me I was lucky. Comradery was so much more back then. It's funny now, but I rarely go to Varrock now, and when I do the music instantly brings back all those memories. Infact, now that I think about it, most of my significant memories of RuneScape have taken place in Varrock. It's where I first got scammed (never to be scammed again). I was buying a Mithril platebody and in my excitement I forgot to check the second trade screen. He had removed it, and I got nothing for the cash I spent. It was also where I bought my first ever Halloween Mask (green). I had saved up long, and hard for it. My friend idolized it so much that I eventually gave it to her. It wasn't long after that I saved up for a red one later on down the road. I enjoyed helping people out back then, and making them happy. Infact, I still do today. If you're polite and need help, I'll usually go out of my way. I wouldn't want to sour the experience of this game for other people, like how some people used to treat me for being a "noob." It's worse today than it was then, but it's still nice to make someone's day. Speaking of which, that reminded me of the guy who walked me through the entire Knight's Sword quest just so I could get that cool looking sword he had. I wish I knew what happened to him, since he stopped logging in a long time ago, but he was one of the few people that made a large impact on the way I play the game now. He actually took the time out of his playing to help do this quest, just because. He never asked for money, or any kind of compensation. He also helped me do Dragon Slayer and earn my first Rune Plate. He helped me level, and guided me through the quest. He never made it overly easy though. Never gave me the runes to get the magic level required, or any cash. I relied on him to guide me, but he made it where I needed to rely on myself to accomplish it. He was also the first person to greet me when I got back from killing Elvarg. I guess, in the end, it was Varrock, and that guy (who's RS name I wish I could remember) that are my fondest RS memories.
  10. Very nice, Lime .. It was clever indeed now that I've seen the answer. Congrats on the 1mil, Sijan .. And actually examining her.
  11. Can you kill dragons with your eyes closed, Lime? By the way, despite it being braille .. The alignment of the items still looks sort of like the United States. It even has the Mississippi River.
  12. No hints .. I'm sure once it's figured out it will be like a slap in the face of stupidity.
  13. Pretty much already did the Christmas thing. Gave my friend a Mage Composite Bow, since she wanted one, and she gave me a piece of the Sara' Vestament Set that I needed to complete it. So we both got what we wanted.
  14. Hunter, honestly. I've never really been intrigued by a skill like I am this one. Normally I'll bounce between them, getting a level here and there, but generally just enjoying the game. I have completely devoted myself to getting 99 Hunter now that the only break from Hunter I plan on taking is when the Eagle's Peak quest comes out. I also can't explain why I enjoy the skill so much either, since it's really just a mundane sit and wait game. Maybe it's the ease at which you can go about leveling it without having to worry about having enough supplies. Who knows?
  15. I've been wondering what the quest requirements might be since tinkering around with the falcons. This is just my own wishful thinking, but maybe the quest will allow us to use the falcons outside of the pen. I know, it's doubtful, but if the requirements for the quest ARE 43, which I doubt, then it's a good possibility. I was mainly thinking this might be the case, because of all the raccoons, squirrels and what-not that inhabit RuneScape. Why were they not somehow included into the Hunter skill? Just like the Kebbits, they would make great prey for the falcons to hunt, so it's a possibility; at least one I see. Again, this is all wishful thinking on my part, but eh .. Who knows?
