You see, they are the strongest non-boss monsters in the game (lvl 360s are part of minigame so they don't count) so it should be nearly impossible to get to the altar, not to mention they can do high damage.

They were waiting a while until there was a stack of quests and they could make the new altars a suitable reward to a long, challenging quest series. Death runes, for example, were made possible with a requirement towards the end of the elf quest series. Death runes were connected to the Mourners and all their "deaths" and "disease" and to the underground pass and all that deadly storyline. My guess would be that blood would maybe come at the end of a vampire-related quest line or challenges to go with that theme. Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down.
