August 25, 200619 yr Well, for the past week you may have seen my post's in Rate This, first getting a Guthans Warspear, then a Dragon Chain. Then two more Guthans Spears, all within 4 days. Well, today, my luck went abit sour. Casually doing my barrows run with my shiny new guthans, I drank 2 doses of prayer potion, enough to bring my prayer to 42 points, and dug into Karils crypt. For the first time, lag got the best of me, and the screen went white for a few seconds, but, knowing I usually kill Karil in ~28 prayer points, I need not worry. Knowing from other IRCer's to minimize the screen, I did just that, and when the runescape screen came back, I was at 9 hp, too high for my Ring of Life to tele me out, and low enough for Karil to kill me before I heal. I quickly scramble to the inventory, and rapidly click on a shark, need I see the shiny red 9 Karil just hit. I keep clicking on the shark, and moments later I am bowing, Loading Please Wait, and I'm in Falador. Still in shock, and realizing only Guthans Plate and Skirt, as well as Karils X-Bow survived, I did all I knew to do, rush to west bank, pull out a house tele tab, and run through canafis, to the boat, to the crypt of Karil. Luckily in my haste I managed to grab a spade, dug into Karils crypt, only to find my remains, and a few vials. Not a shark to spare, not even the spade. I climb the stairs to find a girl bragging about how she got my stuff, and I could quickly realize she wasn't from the tip.it community, as she showed me the stuff, accepted, then declined with the statement "N00B, hahaha" I asked her to buy back my stuff, and she declined and quickly teled out. I went to my bank to check the remains, and still had ~9 mil more than what I had the previous week, so that kept me calm. Thanks to Mr S Scope for selling me some minds and full black dhide =). Now, the blog. I will regain the cash where I lost it, The barrows. I will also post a few goals I've had for a while, but never came close to accomplishing. Wish me luck. August 25, 200619 yr Aww That serves you right for being so darn lucky :P That's unlucky. You should have tried to put Protect Item before you died. Or even that prayer that heals you. But I guess you ran out of prayer. Unlucky :(
August 25, 200619 yr It's going to take a while for you to get 10mill, unless you continue with barrows, or just hope money falls from heaven... if there is one.
