I am on my 4th attempt at fighting Karamel ... thats the 1 that freezes you and saps your abilities... I have tried maging her in lunar mage robes but she saps me to a pitiful mage lvl every couple of seconds and none of my spells work...I cant even drink super restores fast enough to get a spell off ( I am 77 mage and I have now gone through 140k worth of super restores trying that method)...I tried ranging her while drinking super restores (another 70k worth of em) and got her down to half hp...and im 88 ranged!!! (plus i was even using a range pot that brought me up to 99 ranged)...soooo

 

what will work on this thing? Any advice from someone who has killed her? I have spent almost 300k trying to kill her now and I am running out of cash to fight her with..i already have to buy another 70k worth of super restores and more sharks...but i cant think of what to try next?

Wear black dhide, and whatever other mage def bonus items you have (lunar ring, etc.), then range her, but stand next right next to her so she uses melee attacks aswell, and not just mage. Drink super restores and eat food everytime you're frozen.

i did this with 78 range and heres what i used... karils skirt + top archer helm and other range items x-bow wich took about 150 bolt racks ( msb with rune arrows would work im asuming) and some sharks/lobbies and like 10 normal restore pots

i wear black d'hide, super att pots and super restores and meleed it

did you get close to it so it would use it's melee attack?

 

if not you should do that, if you did then you just have the worst luck couse i did it with 60 ranged and addy arrows :roll:

8-) Well I am about to go at it again with my d hide (I didn't realise this had such a good mage defence) I will also try standing close to it this time(I was afraid of getting trapped so far away from the exit route ..didn't think about the fact that she would be meleeing me instead of maging when at close range) I'll bring my ectophial just in case :uhh:

Ok...so my fifth attempt...and now over 450k into this and i still failed. :cry: ....I stood right beside her in black d hide also wearing lunar ring and a crystal bow with my 88 ranged. I went through 10(4) super restores (which didnt seem to actually restore my stats at all?????) and 15 sharks...she didnt even get to half way down in her hp?

 

 

 

When i drink a super restore potion it isnt restoring my stats???? I waited until after the freezing and drank 1...didnt restore them...then i tried drinking while being frozen...didnt restore them...by the end of the fight i drank all 10 super restores and had only a 27 ranging from my 88 (i was also drinking range pots as well!!!)...

 

 

 

so now i have to go buy more sharks and more super restore pots and try this again. I will have almost spent 1 million gp on this by the time im done...and i only had 1.2 million to start...why is this happening to me????
