for the fish... without gauntlets, i think you stop burning in the 50's..

 

and as for combat, just anywhere with lots of semi-weak monsters in a multi-combat zone.

cooking gauntlets don't affect trout and salmon, but i think between 50-60 is when you stop burning salmon.

I thought you stopped burning at twice the level required to cook them in the first place + 1.
