using ruby bolts on jad?

someone told me to use ruby bolts on jad. he said he hit him for 100+ hp has anyone here tried this or is this guy just messing with me?

It works, just not often and not reliably.

 

 

 

And if you go through hours of combat I doubt that you don't want a consistant (cross)bow.

You can do this. Ruby bolts take 10% of your HP and does damage to your foe equal to 20% of their hp.

 

 

 

There's a pic of someone hitting 48 on the KBD, so I image that the Jad with more HP would be hit for more. But probably not 100 though.

Anyway, doing some math, you'd be able to hit 62.4 damage on jad. Not bad... but as others have said, there's no reason to do it that way. The crossbow's aren't reliable enough to make it 'safe'. Crystal bows and X-Bow are known to work fine, so if it ain't broken, don't try to fix it. :

ok so i guess i will just stick with the crystal on jad again. also would you guys use the eagle eye prayer on him or no? i think it might be a bit much with steel skin on for the healers and the protect prayer for jad.

I'm guessing it would help you buy 2 max hit, even though it lowers you prayer faster, I say it's not worth it.
