Hotkeys

Featured Replies

Tired of always having to click to do things. Why can't we only just use the mouse or just use the keyboeard. If Jagex put hot keys in there would be no more need of clicking a thousand times an hour. I'd rather hold the arrows keys to walk. Also you can push (examale F1 to open your attack options, F2 to view your skills etc...). Also when selecting stuff you can just use tab to allternate between the stuff u can do (attacking a monster, entering altars etc)

Now I'm not saying to get rid of the mouse just make the keyboard a little more functional. No flamming please :shame:

theres a hotkey for running already ..... hold ctrl....

Instead of the arrow keys use the traditional FPS keys.

>someone says "stop bashing people who use DFS, efficiency troll ass clown"

o really i didnt know that :(

Here's a thought:

By changing the interface from responding to clicks on the mouse to move to arrow keys to move, it might cut down on some types of macros by messing with their programming. Yes there would eventually be a new program out that would circumvent this but the macroers would have to start from square one with proogramming instead of being able to start with a preexisting one that already has movement hardcoded.

Actually you still hav 2 click which doesnt solve the whole clicking problem

but if u used the arrow keys to move you couldnt rotate the screen around with them

no need tho coz u are the screen and u can not see the person ?

If you really want to go through the process, you can modify your Windows Accessability options to make it so you can control the mouse entirely from your keyboard. Since this is built into Windows, it would not be considered illegal by Jagex standards (i.e. autoing, etc).

Mind you, I haven't done this myself, but I have heard about it and I know that i can be done.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant.
