Guest Posted September 14, 2004 Share Posted September 14, 2004 There's a system update occuring at this moment in time on RuneScape, so i thought i would spend the spare time telling you guys on how i prooved myself. Yes some of you maybe shouting Noob Noob by the end of it, but you all probs have been there. You'll understand by the end ... don't worry. The Dragon Slayer Quest For two days now, i have been getting provisions ready to sail to the island of crandor to take out the awful green dragon, lol. I managed to work my magic up to lvl 33, since i am tight on money at the moment and i wouldn't have bin able to afford the 20k to get a map piece. I think when i took a rest from training magic i was only lvl 15 - 18. I made 1k of Mind runes and trained with an air staff (apperently it's an easy cost effective way of training magic) and it prooved rite. So anyway i got 7 swordies i had fished previously and 14 lobsters. My friend Iantiger said he would come along for support when i was ready to go. I got the map, the boat, me cabin boy and poor ol' ned was ready aswell and i fixed the boat. Everything was ship shape! I was ready to go, i planned to disembark monday morning, because iantiger wasn't in school due to building work happening that day. I don't go back till 17th, but unfortunatly my sister was on the computer doing "HomeWork" *Cough Cough PLAYING MSN Cough Cough*. But i managed to wiggle my way onto the computer in the evening. The night before i had a dream (and this is really actually true), i went to fight the dragon and even though i have never been to crandor, in my dream was exactly what the place looked like. I've seen no pictures or anything. It was totally wierd! Alas iantiger failed to show up and i was slaughtered by the dragon and lost all my rune. So I was a bit worried that iantiger might not actually show, or log off just as i died. But iantiger was online and he asked me if i was ready. Of course i was and off we went, he went the long way round. As you probably know ned crashes the boat (i wish he had gone to speck savers in the end!), very anouying i must say - lol. Iantiger met me there and off we went, felt down because the cabin boy said i was the worst c'pian he had sailed under. Flutterbies were in my stomach (or was that butterflies?), i really didn't want to die as you can expect. We climbed to the top of the mountain, it was more like a hill but never mind and we went into the cave. I had my dragon breath shield and a rune battle axe iantiger had sold me for only 35k. He's a good mate lol. We walked past all the skeletons and so forth and i went into the cage, dungeon, cell or what ever you wish to call it. I thought the dragon was supposed to be lvl 89, but it was only lvl 83. I cheered up then because i've taken out lesser demons with lvl 82 as you know (insidently i got a rune medium the other day from one!). So we were fighting away iantiger kept on cheering me on and shouting "EAT", "EAT MORE". At this time i was getting worried about my weight, i'm quite thin but i don't wanna be fat. My life went right down to 10 once i had to eat 2 lobsters and 1 swordfish, before the dragon could unlesh his flames. I was close to killing it! Do any of you get that? Ya know, your enemies life is hanging by a thread and you don't seem to be able to kill it? Your life is going down as fast as your food pile - well maybe not that fast but you get what i mean. Just then i hit him with an eight - i think and knocked him flat out dead. I was shocked, i thought i was going to die and iantiger even said he did too! I was annouyed though, i didn't get any screenies, that was until iantiger told me he got them for me. So i hope you still have them ian! I want to look at them. he he he.
