WOODCUTTING AXE: BRONZE,IRON,STEEL,BLACK,MITHRIL,ADDY,RUNE,DRAGON PICKAXE:BRONZE,IRON,STEEL,BLACK,MITHRIL,ADDY,RUNE,????...LOL? :? I know having a dragon weapon,axe,or anything of dragon is p2p! but still,even if im not member,and even if it will be sad for f2p,it will make a huge impact on miners of p2p!!! f2p,i know u guys dont care about this topic,but,when u get to p2p,you will might be wondering if their anything better than rune pick... FAQ: -LOL?XSHINOBIZX,you are dumb,with runepick,it takes 1 hit for minning iron ANSWER:WELL,I THINK YOU ARE DUMB!,because,sometimes,having rune pickaxe,u might mine it at 1 hit,but sometimes u might mine it at 3-4 hit!which is like only 10% that that happen!with dragon pick,you will mine iron ore 100% in first hit!!!! -WHAT WILL BE THE DIFFERENCE WITH RUNEPICK AND DRAGONPICK? inferno_char Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 ease up on caps lock its annoyingly hard to read also there was a leak image of a dragon pickaxe when the website style changed so it is planned. It will require level 61 mining to use and will be faster than rune unless Jagex does it the same as original dragon axe to start and improves later. yeah_you_are Posted September 2, 2006 Share Posted September 2, 2006 I agree with char on this one, hes also got a point about price, until just recently it was pointless to buy a d axe becuase the only benifit was increased attack and a special. if they follow suit with the d pick axe it will be just as pointless, causing you to pay far out the back end or kill some lvl 303 monster just for some increased attack, or a special. well woop de freakin doo, roll out the red carpet for the increased stats :roll: If at first you dont suceed, then you fail. Yeah and i noticed that you put the requirement as 2-3million, and i sure hope you don't mean 2-3 million levels...That'd be torcher. But yeah, dragon pickaxe i'm sure will eventually be implemented into the game... It's honestly just a matter of time. Just for future reference though, you also said a dragon axe is 50K....It's like 2-3mill, and the dragon axe was honestly horrible to begin with. I beleive it was the exact same or like 5-10% better then rune axe. Which was a complete blowout, but now (thanks Jagex) Jagex, made the dragon axe better and will hopefully please more choppers. Ok, so now that i've delt with that, let me point out that this suggestion has honestly been posted here and on the runescape forums over 50 times...surprised a Jagex mod hasn't put it on the runescape blacklist. It will probably be a drop from a hard-to-kill monster, just like the axe. The high-alch value will probably be between 50k and 75k. The market price will be whatever people are willing to pay for it. (You cant set a market price in a free market system. Market prices are set by supply and demand.) Check that they have better grammar at least...And search for the idea first as well. Although the search on TIF isn't so great, but I'm sure many people have posted this before. Jagex is very likely working on this. 4. I mine iron 1 hit every time, I've mined over 5K of it, with a rune pick, and every single time was one hit. And it's not the pickaxe that lets you one hit it, it's your mining level. Although a bronze pick at level 60 probably can't 1 hit iron. So maybe, the dragon pick could let you 1 hit coal at level 75 or something... 5. Dragon picks would be worth a little more than dragon axes at first, then probably decrease in price a little. It'll probably start off at 3M+, but slowly drpo to 2.5M-3M. 6. You can't make pickaxes probably because smithing is connected to mining more than it is to woodcutting. I beleive you can one hit coal at 90+ mining (not exactly sure) but the reason it is so high is because coal is needed for every useful bars. Having a dragon pic would be like 80-87 or something depending on how much better it is then rune pick...Probably takes about level 50 with a rune pick to 1 hit iron ores, so that's 20 levels higher. Normally it's probably abou 20-30 levels higher or maybe it's just double and you one hit it, dunno exactly.
