September 2, 200619 yr Heya all. I was just wondering (Albosky & fellow Admin) if you could change the way in which when you click on an emoticon it doesn't get added to the end of what you have written but the emoticon gets added into where you have clicked in the post (where your cursor clicked and is situated). I'm not asking much, and it would take away a little fustration (well annoyance) when writing a post. As I like to add emoticons somtimes after I write a post where they fit appropriately into my post. ~~Eelspremiers~~ Also don't reply saying to copy and paste the emoticon from the bottom of the post into where I want it to be as that is what I do at the moment. And that's why I wrote this thread as it can get annoying at times doing that method.
September 2, 200619 yr I think it's Firefox that does this, not the forum. It doesn't happen in IE or Opera I believe.
September 2, 200619 yr what Phil said :D I actually do have a fix for it , will do it when i can :P I like to fart silently but deadly in movie theatersArd Choille says (11:41 PM):I wouldn't dare tell you what to do m'dear
September 3, 200619 yr Yeah I thought this was Firefox only... as for the fix - how does that work? If it was simple enough, it ought to be implemented into phpbb... Where the bloody hell are you?
September 6, 200619 yr Yeah Thanks for the answer! Dam Firefox, nothing can be perfect (besides the guy upstairs :P)! And it would be great Albosky if you could fix it for me and the fellow firefox users! Thanks, ~~Eelspremiers~~
September 6, 200619 yr Yeah I thought this was Firefox only... as for the fix - how does that work? If it was simple enough, it ought to be implemented into phpbb... It just changing the javascript in posting _body.tpl to be cross-platform unfortunately the phpBB team will not fix anything in phpBB2 unless it poses a secruity risk or is a major flaw in the software , and they wont consider a javascript a major flaw. Luckily MOD writers alike WILL fix anything and everything  I like to fart silently but deadly in movie theatersArd Choille says (11:41 PM):I wouldn't dare tell you what to do m'dear
September 6, 200619 yr There is no MOD , when i said MOD writers , I was refering to myself :P I like to fart silently but deadly in movie theatersArd Choille says (11:41 PM):I wouldn't dare tell you what to do m'dear

September 7, 200619 yr Hey, guys, any chance you could make it show in the status bar what it will insert? I liked how when it changed my cursor to a hand before and I could see what it was going to put into the forum post that I am typing. :( Btw, I am running FireFox, so admittedly, I do like that it inserts at the cursor position now... :) ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people...
