Shifting Screens?

Does anyone notice that the game shifts slightly left, right, up, and down?

Sometimes I use a metronome that beeps every 5 seconds and I tape my mouse down and just click the left click on the safes in the rogue den to level my thieving, then before I now it, i am clicking the wall...

So one day I tested it. My mouse moved 17 pixels right, and 13 pixels up over a 10 minute period. I started with the curser on my guys head, then the game shifted 20.40093456 pixels to the South-West side of my screen. So is it my computer or does the game actually shift?

ps. If you have a metronome for music, set it to 12 bpm and just click everytime it sounds. Tape the mouse down to your desk once you have the pointer on the safe. Works really well with duel screens because you can watch a movie and be a thief at the same time!

shh! your not supposed to know that. but since everyone can now figure out why it does that, i may as well go and blurt it out thoughtlessly.

that movement is an antimacro system at work. as you play, the whole game, minimap, viewpoint, and everything else, shifts, turns, and moves arounby just mere pixles at a time. this is used to counter certain macro systems that dont count on the color their clicking, but rather, the position of the cursor on the game screen. the way it works is like so: a macro program is set to go to point A, click, wait a time, click, wait a time, then go to point B, and click again. its set to repeat this over and over for as long as it can. as it does that, the game shifts the viewpoint a bit over time. eventually, the macro program isnt clicking on what it was set to do and either messes up something, or completely stops working until the user comes back.

of course, most macro programs now use color recognition, so that method is fairly outdated, but jagex still keeps it in place to continue to fool those who may look to old tactics for new ideas.

I couldn't care less if he was Andrew Gower himself, I just don't like arrogant smegheads.

I had an online friend who made bots for MMORPG's and he said that this is about the most annoying thing that a game can do.

Reasons to not bot

It gets you banned...

It gets you banned...

75% of the time the bots don't work

10% of the time they are keyloggers

5% of the time you end up losing all your equiptment somehow

1% of the time GM's will just mess with you and send you to a island where you are stuck forever and can't even die...

Most things change actually... as far as the main game screen and the minimap are concerned (the inv and chat box don't).

For instance, try hovering over something and look at the corner text (ie "Mine Rock / 2 other options" or whatever). If you keep it there for a bit you can see the character spacing randomly change. And at the lower-level, the colors of the text (and many other things) change minorly. This is to try to throw off color recognition and OCR, but of course it isn't working all that well lol.

I will shoot down any one with my bitting wit, and sarcasm!

What POSSIBLE reason would someone have to make a fake like that?Does he profit from faking a picture like that? Does it help him at all?Jesus Christ, stop being so suspicious. This is Tip.it for God's sake, not RuneHQ. -_-
