September 3, 200619 yr Okay so I'm deciding to do get the skull sceptre from the Security Stronghold on my pure (lvl 63). Any ideas on how to obtain the latter two of the pieces without dying a horrible death? Any safe spots that are useful? Suggestions are wonderful.

September 3, 200619 yr the only useful advice is to bring a lot of food if you are trying for it. I don't believe there is a safe spot for the level 3 monsters but for ankous, there are safe spots behind the skeletons (not completely safe, though. You have to wait until they stop attacking you after 15 minutes you been there to be able to use it well). Killing ankous is simple with crumble undead spell. It's going to depend on your luck how fast before you get each piece.

September 4, 200619 yr Author what type of pure? range, strength ,defence, mage? 90 range, 81 str, 70 mage, 2 defence. So the main problem is.. I get hit a lot. @digitalstick, i forgot about crumble, thanks =)

September 4, 200619 yr Bah! easy! I had 40 ranged (mostly for green dragonhide), 40 attack (rune scimmy), 34 str, iron + dragonhide + power. Took down 1-2 Ankou on a load of Trout/salmon, or typically 2 level 49 catas. For the Ankous, crumbling once fully safe works well, but a pure would probably need a bodyguard to survive until it gets easy.

Actually it varies on easy because he might have to kill 50 ankou whereas you only had to kill two. (Sorry mate!!) 98% of all people are acctually crocodiles in disguise. September 5, 200619 yr Had to kill more than two, but my measly level 34 could do them without banking (carrying feathers, rod, throwaway axe and tinderbox) - only went to bank when I lost a line of space to pickups. With those stats, 3 or 4 per run should be possible.
