September 5, 200619 yr Do you think the future of Rs will hold a new independant skill? Something that can't be bought, such as mining, fishing, agility etc? If so, what do you think it would be? September 7, 200619 yr i don't know...i think rs is running out of logical skill ideas. Only one i can think of next is swimming....They could always do a sailing but i doubt it..and that can be bought if made. September 7, 200619 yr like the other useless posts have highlighted, there really isnt much left to do... perhaps something like alchemy. not the spell, but medieval chemistry, trying to turn useless elements into valuable ones (for example, being able to turn a bronze bar into a gold bar). ... still trying to think. there honestly isnt much left. unless they make summoning a new skill (rather than a branch of magic as is expected).
September 7, 200619 yr what about horseback riding? i find not being able to run for too long quite annoying maybe a horse could help? especially between cities also combat on horseback maybe interesting 8-) of course u can't use a horse in a dungeon so jagex may add new monster areas for horseback combat training and maybe even a new range of weapons and armor for that :idea:
September 7, 200619 yr How about no more useless skills, b/c whatever jagex throws at us could be good or bad, they just need to work on the skills that already there and make them 200% better than they already are. Just add more features to the game, better weapons, better armour, more training areas, more monsters to kill etc. Players want to explore the world and get better at skills that have been there for quiet a while. :lol: BUt thats just me...
September 7, 200619 yr Entertainment! You could play music on like lutes and stuff, and npc's could throw money at you. Then you could have random events like npc's throwing rocks at you, or tomatoes, or someone transporting you to a throne room where you get points depending on how well you entertain a king or queen. But they'd have to come up with little tune-things that you learn, and you'd have certain instruments as you gain levels and such. I plan on posting a thread on this soon since I have a whole bunch more ideas for that skill. I like knitting. They could have like competitions or a mini-game or something against other people, and if you [puncture] yourself with a needle you lose points, and if the blood stains the garment you lose and get your outfit changed to shabby clothes! Ok, so the last paragraph was sarcastic. That would be....awkward. But I like the entertainment idea. Im not an addict or anything...but I just cant give it up.
