Tzhaar fire cape without barrow armor?

Ok guys, I've searched all over the web but I'm coming up empty on this. Is it humanly possible for someone, say my level 110 (but low range which is just 73), to actually go all the way to Jad without barrow armor or set effect? Once I come up to the 360, things get really nasty and I'm always stuck with rune armor, combined to range hide and monk robes at times, having my health slowly going down.

Black d'hides + initiate + crystal bows + safe spots.

Safe spots don't always work of course. Once you kill a wave, they'll be coming from any direction. I use black hide but it doesn't get me far.

 

 

 

What I need to know is if its possible, I need people to confirm me that they did it.

 

 

 

And by the way, I don't have a crystal bow, I only use MSB.

 

 

 

Of course, I use safe spots all the time, but to set up the safe spot, you must expose yourself, thus you'll expose your range or melee or magic or the three attacks at one more or another.

completing fight caves with msb, you are asking for too much :wink: (only of course you are using rune arrows with super poison for example) but, i know muggi have do excellents guides (look at archive of wisdom) for doing what you asking for

you CANT do it with mage short bow.... actually spend some money -.-

I did it with a MSB. And I had a bunch of potions leftover, too. Even so, at level 73, it might just be too slow.

 

 

 

I've gotten up to the second to last wave without Guthan's, but it's just not worth trying. Just buy a set, use it until you complete caves, and then sell it again. That worked for me ^^

Well, that's pretty dumb of me, I never thought for even one second of buying the set and reselling it, that's a very good suggestion since I do have more than enough money for the set. Thanks I'll probably try that!

Mmm I didn't check long but, I saw some prices upwards of 9-12m? I mean, a max of 12m for the entire set, that's like wowser :)

Don't buy guthans, just read this guide, and use the best suggested armour that you can afford. Trust me, it's easier without Guthans.

 

 

 

And crystal bows actually are cheaper in the long run, and you won't have to pick up arrows
