Which is quicker/cheaper?

Featured Replies

I want to get 70 construction from 40. From tip.it calculators I should get there with 12k oak logs for larders.

Is it cheaper to plank the logs yourself then get the butler to unnote the planks or get him to unnote logs then get him to plank them?

Also, whish is quicker?

Thanks to anyone who helps me with my dilemna.

the quicker one is asking your Butler to unnote logs and plank them hands down, he charges every 240 planks, so 12k would have him charge 50 times, 250k beside planking.

If you plank the logs yourself, cut the cost down by 1/2, but you need to double your time dedicated to construction.

So using the cheaper, longer method, how much cash would I need to get him to unnote 12k oak planks? (70 construction.)

Sorry, i had a calculation error, he charges every 12 trips.

If you ask butler to unnote the logs and plank them, he charges every 120 planks, so it could cost 500k on top of the plank costs (which is 3m for 12k planks)

If you plank them yourself, and ask butler to unnote them for you, half the butler costs, it becomes 250k.

I think I understand. So 3.25m if I plank them myself and 3.5m if get the butler to do it? Hmm something doesn't sound right there. Am I doing something wrong?

The bulter charges the same amount as the sawmill. However from my understanding I think he means the fee the butler charges periodically. Considering that adds up to 5k each time it totals to the amount of 250k.

Cheapest method of getting cons exp is by using lyres to tele to rellekka, run to your house, make larders and tele with house glory to edge and repeat.

so in that case, buy planks or have them made yourself.

that would be cheapest, there is a guide to it in archive of wisdom.
