I'm pretty sure I've played some other games run on java that has music similar to Runescape. (Mystery of Time and Space is the one that pops off the top of my head) If you listen carefully, you can hear some of the sound effects Runescape uses in its music. You can read about it here. Surprisingly, there's only one member of Jagex staff who creates ALL the sounds... and he does a good job. Never trust anyone.
