FOA MODS : If this is in the wrong place, please move! :)

Has any one got Liberty City Stories for PSP?

I need some advice, when I'm playing it on my PSP, it isn't 100% smooth, sometimes it will be jerky, and wont be smooth at all......

Its not very jerky, just doesnt play as smooth, is this what happens on all PSP's with this game? As I see it's a very big and demanding game.

Thanks

i have it, and completed it. There are some communitys that have figured out how to mod it using save game files, you can create your own islands and change car stats, ect.

Did you even read my topic? :?

Have you tried it on another person's PSP? Just a thought.

I know the GTA worlds tend to be large. There are times GTA gets laggy on the PS2, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a little lag on the PSP. I can ask my friend tomorrow, if you'd like. I got it for him for his birthday.

That would be great! Thanks!

Just to add - Mine doesn't get laggy all the time, just when a lot is happening in the surroundings.

But, please ask your friend tommorow!

Thanks again.

oh i beat that mission. all you do is go and steal the hearse then kill the guards and go to the airport.

My carbon footprint is bigger than yours...and you know what they say about big feet.

These are the times that try mens souls...

Its rather smooth on my psp. It can delay graphics making the base show up first, and then details, but usually only if i'm flying through the city like a looney and am going so fast that it cant keep up.

Well my friend said:

(sn removed)

- sometimes when I make turns, it pauses for like 1 second and loads I think

- you know how like in runescape how if you move to a certain area it loads

- it sorta feels like that when I was playing

- thats the only non smooth thing that i felt

But I'm sure it'll lag if you're in a place with a lot of activity. It even lags on the ps2 if you throw a bajillion tanks onto the screen using codes.

Thanks very much Weezcake!

It's probably the UMD, it doesn't look like it's in the best condition, I don't think it's my PSP.

Thanks again.
