My_Eggs Posted September 15, 2006 Share Posted September 15, 2006 well i have a bunch of gems, and i need gold bars, so i was wondering where is the fastest place to mine a lot of gold ore? thanks 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. If you have the Ring of Charos (u) you could mine gold there, get out of the vein, run east to the ferry man and have him bank your gold for you. They Rock! The Arzinian mines do require a golden helmet that you get to make during the quest, and you need gold bars (I think 2) to make it. So mine at the crafting guild for some company and low yield (usually overcrowded) or "speedmine" at the Azinian mines for fast gold ores. Another tip regarding getting gold bars: when smelting your ores, use gold smithing gauntlets from the "family crest" quest to get loads of extra smithing xp. scapegote1 Posted September 15, 2006 Share Posted September 15, 2006 Alright, well you probably haven't done fairy tale part 2 yet either, but here's how I mine gold. You need a dramen staff, pickaxe, and magic whistle. If you don't have a magic whistle, go to the fairy ring in zanaris and enter "bjr" this will take you to the fisher king realm, go to the castle and in the first room on the table you will find a magic whistle. Now to mine, get your stuff, go to the zanaris fairy ring and enter bjr, after you teleport blow the magic whistle and you will appear on brimhaven, to the southeast there are 10 gold ore rocks and a gold ore spawn point. Mine a full load then run back to the building you appeared under when you blew your magic whistle and blow it again. (you have to be under the platform or it won't work). Head back east over the bridge and to the fairy ring, you'll be back in zanaris, bank, repeat. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
