This is half future update, and a suggestion for the future update. If this would be better in suggestions, please put it there. Hello, I'm Buckeyemange. As I tried to sleep in bed one night, a thought from runescape came into my head. A lone woman in Draynor, who's dream was to change the draynor manner or varrock's usless museum into some kind of museum... Now I thought about this. What purpose could this museum have? Sure, it could have the usual things, Statues of great heros, weapons like Silverlight and excalibur, and other things. But then I thought, "What about the new graphical updates?" Yes, the dragons, demons, and giants have been upgraded. They now are fearce, strong, and have oddly long tongues. But what of those who are new, and have no memories of the dragons we used to, well, PWN, back in the day. This museum could have a special section, known as the "Before and after" section. It would have magic portrits of monsters, citys, areas, and such that have been updated. Using the magic pictures, you could teleport to a special area, that is blocked with magic walls, to prevent wandering. You could then walk around the city before it was updated, but you lose the ability to acess your items. That includes money, no buying things in old falador! You could also see old monsters in their old habitat, such as the green dragons, before they were pretty, in there level 35 wilderness home. While seeing monsters, you become, well, a ghost, if you will. You cannot attack them, They cannot attack them. It is just a way to see what the old school looked like. That is one way. The other is some kind of zoo. In this zoo, you could see old style dragons, or other monsters. Thoughts? Also, post ideas for the museum, like what it would have in in the museum. We want pictures!!! Things there should be pictures of. Please give me more ideas! Monsters (old) Dragons Giants Demons Places (old) I think you should go to places, not just see them. My opinion. Old falador Old draynor Mannor Runescape classic pictures... Players in full armor, bronze through rune. Old Barrows. A hand full of weapons And a random assortment of old items, like fish, wood, that kind of stuff. Runes, Including the "life" rune. The GES, the only clan ruled by a Goat. "How did it start? September 16, 200619 yr i know nowthing about computer progrming but i think this might be hard to do....but im not sure.... anyway what i think they could do is have something like whats up in the old sara mage guy in dranyors house...a telescope. you could have a tower somewhere and several magical telescopes that you can look at towns and they would show up the way they used to be. actually it would be more of a bug scurying thingying thats in houses and fight pits. and that would be in a huge tower and the baesment would be the zoo thingy of the old monsters and stuff. i like your idea though :)
September 16, 200619 yr its a good idea but i have a little bit of knowledge about programming and something like that would be Huge. an easier way to your idea would be something like a zoo, where old versions of the monsters are penned up. Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.

September 19, 200619 yr A little tip: Take pictures of Varrock, Rats and Bats, because thay are going to be updated! :D ...how do u know this is true or not.... on topic: mmm... i'm guessing this is an ok idea.... upsides: ~ new players would get to see the old versions of stuff ~ players could see the old monsters they missed (killing)... ~ peep who r afraid to go to far into the wildy can see the old wildy? downsides: ~ jagex would take ALONG time to put this in... ~ wats the point of the zoo if u can't kill the monsters inside? ~ y would people want to see the old version? thats y jagex made the update in the first place! so that people would like the new versions of monsters, instead of the older ones ~ wats the point of seeing the wildy if u can't attack peep? also if ur a ghost then can players c u? cauz u can actually kill a ghost... those r just my opinions... think wat u want...
September 21, 200619 yr ~ wats the point of the zoo if u can't kill the monsters inside? you dont see people killing polar bears in the bronx zoo do you? ( although some try throwing stones, they all miss pathticlly) the whole point is to see what the "good old days" were like, im guessing in ghost mode, only you can see yourself, this way you cant open : ghost" markets where people would travel to old fally and trade there. I like this idea a lot, and i have a lot of pics of varrock and rats now ( ok fine i willhave a lot of pics of varrock and rats) just in case. Oh and another thing, maybe in the museam you can try out weapons and armor you dont have, or cast spells u cant yet.For example you pay the museam guy 1k or so, then he gives you runes to cast a spell on a dummy, just to see what its like, you get to wear the armor and wield the weapon and attack dummys for 30 seconds. You wouldnt get any experince when your doing this, you just get to see what its like so you can decide if its worth buying it or not. ~It's Super Effective! October 12, 200619 yr I could say, that the Varrock Museum is probably one of the BIGGER buildings that is least visited (in f2p). Just my opinion, because it's useless. You could argue some places in Al Kharid, but those aren't very big.
