Are there any NPCs that sell black kite shields? I've already checked Falador and Varrok's armour shop to no avail.

Have no idea about this, but it's worth a shot- The champs guild?

Thanks for the suggestion. Champ's Guild has helm and legs, but no kites. It was worth a shot though.

Stock there is always 0, storekeeper doesn't restock.

No NPCs sells them, this shield is only optained from lvl1 clues and optainable for killing ice giants.

 

 

 

There is exception, the dwarf in Keldagrim sells it, at west part of the city. You must start "The Giant Dwarf" to go there.

 

 

 

That's the only NPC that sells it. If you aren't a fan of quests, ice giants is the only way.

when the gem shops DO actually have gems they sell very cheaply (uncut) so go free worlds in al kahrid or how ever it spelt and wait for low lvls to sell them there lol

 

 

 

and about the kite just buy it from players for a few k, no big loss

If you read previous posts you would see where I made the connection. Both the shop that sells gems and black kiteshield is player stocked, meaning the NPC does not provide the item.

hence the first sentence..... lol

Yeah, I've been trying that. Seems not too many folks hang onto them though. I know when I've gotten them from drops, I generally alch them right away.

Oh good point. It doesn't restock, there is a low chance someone would sell it since few people would high alchemy them instead of going all the way to Keldagrim City and sell it there.

 

 

 

I'm sorry to say, the only ways to get black kiteshield are:

 

Killing Vampyre (Don't know second word on the name?)

 

Opening a Shade Chest

 

Kill Ice Giants

 

Beat a level 1 clue

 

 

 

Since the owner only sells if someone else sells it and it's very rare.

Well, you were right about Keldagrim. It was taking too long, so I went to the Ice Giants. It was one of the first drops. :)
