September 27, 200619 yr Now there is an abundance of Clans at the moment - Each with their own way. But when it comes to leadership, how many do you find to be the most suiting? I've seen Clans with one Leader be successful and Clans with six Leaders be successful. Is there a right amount to have or does it vary from Clan to Clan? Offline and unavailable.
September 27, 200619 yr I feel that any number(within reason) can be successful. However I feel that you need to get the right mix to your clan. Like some clans have have 1 or 2 leaders and they are the "big boss". But other clans don't have one main leader and maybe the head of events, head of pking, head of recruitment etc. My opinion is that 2 is the right number. My reason for this is that if one leader has an idea about something and t's not very good at all, then the other leader can knock some sene in to the other. Another reason is that if one leader decides to leave the clan then there is a leader left to run things, then think about who would be the best to be their next partner. September 27, 200619 yr yea good idea but my former clan was destroyed by a person who was voted admin who messed up the site so i like the system mine has, 1 admin, and 2 mods, it works
September 27, 200619 yr any number definatley works yeah, but i like the "top dog" approach. the strongest is claimed leader, within reason, any one who thinks they can beat the big karhoona and does, takes over leadership. however, i think leadership shouldnt mean he/she can kick out who he like when he/she likes, those things come down to a clan vote. but he/she can have negotiating rights between clan battles... Even on my death bed, I'll bare-hand that bloody shark.
September 28, 200619 yr For a small clan, I prefer 1. For a larger clan. 60 - 80. I prefer 2 For clans larger than 80 members, 3 leaders definetly needed. Proud founder of the Myriad
September 28, 200619 yr umm id say 1 -2 wold be good, 1 is good for smaller clans and clans with admins, or mods, 2 is good for larger clans so one can overrule as a matter of fact there ISN'T anything more important than pking
September 28, 200619 yr It really depends. I'm fortunate and have excellent friends that I can trust, so I'm usually leading a clan with two co-leaders. For one long stretch though, two of my friends quit and it was just me. The clan worked out fine, but it was a lot more work; so I prefer working with others to even out our load. We all get a bit of slack that way.
October 4, 200619 yr I think having a main leader and a co-leader is good its also useful to have people in charge of specific aspencts of the clan such as head melee, diplomat, high counciler(3d in command) etc.
November 17, 200619 yr alright heer it goes. you have a king with supreem power then he has 2 dukes. the dukes help him to co rule his kingdome. each duke has 2 counts to follow his commands. the counts leead men into battle and also are assigned 2 barons each. the barons are the lowest ranking lord but lead men into battle as well. togeather they make up the councel of lords and each has equal say. but the king retains executive power to veto anything they try to pass. the dukes take over command in the kings abscence via a co rule system like the councels of old. but they cannot have any legeslature pass such as the changeing of events or code of honour ectra in the kings abscence. should the king mesteriosly dissipear for more than 3 months at a time one of the dukes is declared king by a vote in the councle. he then promotes one of his counts to the rank of duke. so there you have it a effective command structure for a clan of over 100 men. November 18, 200619 yr I prefer the idea on one leader, because if there is more than one, they can argue over each other then possably cause civil war since they can split up the clan really bad. I do however, endores a higher number of co-leaders, this was if co-leaders have a tie or something the leader can break the tie. EST. November 18, 200619 yr Our clan has 3 leaders, and quite a handful of support staff. The clan is 2 years old and still chugging.
