I think you could build it for cheaper getting parts from http://www.newegg.com (if you live in the US). For the money you save you could get a decent graphics card.

Other than the bad graphics card and the price, it's a very good computer that would last you along time.

I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.

This is almost exactly like the specs you posted in this thread. No need to keep making new threads when you drop a gig of ram and add another 250gb harddrive.

Thats actually a very good deal

500 in raid 0 is dang good

Core 2 Duo's are the new extreme (untill december when the Quads come out ;-)

That video card is a 7300 and the newest that nvidia has out is 7950 GX2 so its not too out dated.

Id buy it

November actually...

It all looks fine, except for that video card, which will absolutely suck hard. Get a 7600GT or 7900GS if possible. You will get much better performance out of either of those two cards because if you get the 7300, you'll most likely have to get a better card anyway because it will choke under the strain of newer games.

Actually, this is a totally different computer. It is a Dell XPS not a dimension 5100. It may look about the same, but it isn't.

Well, thanks for your help everyone, I just placed the order. I know the video card sucks, but that is the best i can afford.

The name Dell slaps on the cardboard box doesn't change the fact it only has 2 changes to parts you listed (Ya know, the stuff that MATTERS).

I should get into the PC building buisness, just so I can charge people more for the same parts with a different name...

Generaly warranties come on seperate parts  .

PC looks good but the video card is meh. 7300LE = ew. Get at least a 7600GT in there, good mid range card.

The best you could afford? You could spend the same amount of money and get a very good graphics card if you built it yourself.

Oh yeah like everyone can build a computer themselves -.-

And nothing can go wrong :^o

Since you placed your order already but...

Don't you think you should compare prices from different shops??

I mean it is a common street smart for middle class people like us.
