September 29, 200619 yr In order to get my smithing from 50 up to 60, I have started to mine 8000 coal and 4000 iron to make 4000 steel bars which I will smith into platebodies. My mining is currently level 64, and I am currently mining coal in the mining guild. My question is: is this too much to mine at once? I would really like to get 60 smithing!! Right now I have about 1.5k coal mined. Also, at what rate do you suggest I mine the coal? 500 coal a day? 400? (I am not one of those people who spends 9 hours a day on here, I do have a life! lol, the most I can probably spend is a few hours a day.) Thank you so much for your help!! =D>
September 29, 200619 yr no! easyily done i can do 4k coal and 2k iron in a week! well i used to but the smithing bit will be the more boring due to you can only do like 10 at a time which sucks (not totaly sure how many) by the way im 71 mining so i have some experience in mining
September 30, 200619 yr well max steel bar ber inventory is 9..... steel while it's fastest for f2p most boring. then on the other hand consider your self lucky you only need that many bars
September 30, 200619 yr Spread the load 400 coal a day. Takes 5 min per load at guild. so avg 10-12 loads per hour. That is bout 300 coal per hour for a safe estimate. MAke sure u run in guild. Spend an hour a day for 2 weeks and u can get ur 4k coal. the iron...i suggest buying 1k iron. then mine 1k iron. Varrock east mines is good banking place. buy the iron from newbies for 20-30ea. although iron is 100ea....but they dont know that do they? They mine 28 iron and u give em 600gp. they are happy. ur happy. all good. make sure u buy from small newbie miner who have 28 to 56 iron. buy for 30ea and ure good to go. keep doing this till u have 1k iron. any help? pm me rsn:blaze 100% F2P85 Mining achieved on Dec 4, 200785 Smithing achieved on May 28, 2009
September 30, 200619 yr Ahh smithing is such a pain that it willl take soo long to mine the ores then smelt them, smith them and alch pl8s. I recommend buying all your ores much better that way... i still h8 smelting.... :x Good luck btw

September 30, 200619 yr DUDEZ!i made 1 minning to 85 in 2 DAYS!....1-60 MINNING In 2 days...so easy...just mine iron and you all set up...beleave me :wink: somehow i doubt it, 85 mining from 0 exp in 2 days thats impossible 1 hour is 3600 secs 1 day is 86400 secs 2 days are 172800 in order to get to lvl 85 u need to mine 93103 iron ores 172800\93103=about 1.85 second for iron ore if u mined 2 days stright i mean 48 hours no sleep no food no toilet so i doubt it There are 3 types of people in the world. September 30, 200619 yr nah its a bit high but okay, on my old old acc i mined 10000 coal and 5000 iorn, did what u did, 65 smithing....i think.....sniff...that was until i got banned when i was halfway through smelting them...sniff..but yer shud take u a while, ull get bored, but itll be worth it lol Cheap Mark - Going for 1050 Total
