Skill Masters

I have an idea that will allow players to enjoy raising there levels and to actually try and achieve something at the same time.

My idea is simple, it works alot like the slayer masters do.

My idea is that for each skill there is a skill master, who when you talk to, will set you tasks, once you have completed the tasks he will give you a small reward, maybe some exp in that skill or an item, and then can set you a new one.

For example i go to the woodcutting skill master, he sets me a task to cut 1200 willow logs, i do so, and then go back and talk to him again, he gives me 5k woodcutting exp as a bonus for completing his tasks, and then offers to set a new one.

This would work for all skills, you would need a certain level to access the master trainers, maybe the guild level for them, eg mining: need 60 for guild and 60 for master trainer.

The tasks set are random and can be any amount and any type, for example, 1000 normal logs or 1000 mage logs. He/she will not set tasks which are above your level. Eg, 1000 mage logs if you only 70 woodcutting.

The master trainers will work like the slayer masters, giving tasks out, and giving small rewards after. They do not keep the materials you get during the tasks, they are there merely to train you.

I think that this skill would give players that are finding it hard to train skills, a much easier time as they have a target to reach.

Post here with your thoughts on this and let me know what you think, if i get a decent response then i will see if i can contact Jagex with this idea.

Thanks sin

yea, thats just taking away the slayer skill and its uniqueness...i mean if all other skills were like that, then slayer wouldn't be a skill, just a combat addition.
