Hey'all!

 

 

 

So Bflinty1 has decided to offer me a race, and I have accepted the challenge, hoping I'll win. It can be done, right? Yeah you all agree, I own 8-). So yes, a race to 1600! Easy enough to say I'm 1531 now. BUT! I've got other goals along the way, which will be fully explained in this thread.

75 Fishing - 4 Levels Off.

90 Attack - 3 Levels Off.

 

80 Range - 1 Level Off.

 

70 Runecrafting - 5 Levels Off.

 

65 Agility - 3 Levels Off.

 

85 Cooking - 2 Levels Off.

90 Defence - 10 Levels Off.

 

80 Firemaking - 5 Levels Off.

 

60 Slayer - 5 Levels Off.

Update 1 -. 15th October - Ok, 7 levels done already. I'm still in the lead. Maybe not forever? Well anyway, been doing some farming, getting into a bit now. Working on slayer with my crystal bow at the present moment. My new stats are:

Update 2 -. 1545 total level now, that's 14 levels since the start of this thread. Ok I came up with this idea of trying to get 600 total on a new account before Bflinoobty got 1600 on his account, he accepted the challenge. Now i've scrapped that idea and i'm going to stick to the plan. Ok, I've started to love combat once again, therefore i'm going to be doing that a lot. Aiming for 90 attack first, then 95+. Strength will be staying on 85 for a while, don't question me on it. I simply do not like it. Well, i'll also be doing some runecrafting, to boost my wealth a little. After a bit of runecrafting, i'll be purchasing some more melee supplies.

Update 3 -. Ok, hacked 2 days back, but i'll still be racing. Runecrafting at the moment to make some of my cash back, then i'll be working on mining to 70 and maybe smithing too. Those together push my total level to 1570. So that would mean only 30 levels to go. Hit 65 Runecrafting last night also, 3.5k Nature Runes in the bank.

Update 4 -. K, on 2.3M now, going to buy 3k flax, spin that to turn the 2.3M into 2.5M, which also gets me 65 Crafting, will also hopefully achieve 65 mining today too, only 1 level to go. Sandstone and Granite ftl. Short update.

Update 5 -. Righteo, tried out some staking, went 400k up, went back down. Went 1M up... Went 2M down! Yes, I am left with only 3.5M, I did recover 5.5M already from that hack. But yah, also fount out my friend Robert Rdam got his santa hat stolen, which really shown me not to lend nothing out. So sorry I S K 1 L I. Going to be training hard these next 3 weeks, work to be done. :thumbsup:

I may be starting this race 25odd levels behind, but I've got a few tricks up my sleave :^o

 

 

 

My main goal is to beat noophiar here to 1600 total, if I can't do that then I'll just make sure to get it before Christmas.Here is a comparison of me and morphiar on 11 October 2006 (starting date).

you should get 1600 easy, you could get 60 or so lvls on just farming and con alone also there is some room for inprovment on your theiveing :P

At the time i bought it, it was roughly 700k-900k, so i guess so.

I do however have some tricks/tips for you:

 

Construction: Oak planks- fastest, easiest, and cheapest. Cut your own oaks, have them cut yourself, and then make into oak things with the workshop.

 

Fishing: Monkfish are the way to go. Fairly fast and good xp. It's also good food for training! :P

 

Theiving: I'd suggest theiving from Freminnik citizens. Or you could try mini games like the Rogues Den or Theiving Pyramid, but it's not fast xp.
